Is there a way to see if someone (kids) unplug the power or disrupt service?

Hi there @Mjq
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
If you log into your modem GUI (by typing 192.168.2.1 into a browser), you can click on "Advanced tools and settings", select "System Logs" and then a screen will open. At the bottom of the screen there is an "Export" button to click which will open a new browser with a bunch of modem logs. You can scroll all the way down to the bottom for the most recent logs. Upon testing it from my end by unplugging my modem, I see a log from when I unplugged my modem that says "event found : 1 BOOT", indicating my modem was rebooted / booting up. Additionally you would see some devices being connected to the Wi-Fi as well.
You can test this on your end as well. What I did was I checked the logs for the most recent log, closed the page, unplugged my modem, waited for it to boot up and then went back into the modem logs to recheck for the most recent log from when I unplugged the modem, which is when I see the "BOOT" and a bunch of my devices connecting to my SSID (Wi-Fi).
While it is possible that the modem may have rebooted itself, if you're not around to determine this or the modem is not within view, what I'd suggest is setting the wire in a specific spot and if the service goes down, check the cord to see if it's position moved (just a way to know if you're modem is being unplugged manually or if it's an equipment issue).
Hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Community.

There should be various lights on the modem when it's powered up. It depends from model to model how many lights will be on.
