Issue with McAfee Security Download – ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

Dear Bell Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with the McAfee Security download on the MyBell.ca website. When I try to click the "Download" button for McAfee Security under my internet security options, I am redirected to a page that displays the following error message:

"This page isn’t working
fedportal.ges.bell.ca redirected you too many times.
Try deleting your cookies.
ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS."

I have already tried clearing my cookies and cache, but the issue persists. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue so I can successfully download McAfee Security?

Happened to me also. You will have to retry a few times and eventually it will let you in.

I kept hitting retry and it eventually let me in. Cookies or cache have no effect.

To be honest, you don't really need the software anyways unless you are using Windows 7/8. Windows 10/11 comes with Microsoft Defender pre-installed.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I have retried multiple times, but it has never let me in. The issue persists despite clearing my cookies and cache.

Could you please provide further assistance or an alternative way to access the McAfee Security download?

Good Day.

Which version of the McAfee Security from Bell are you trying to download?

The Good Bell McAfee package is no longer available as of September 13, 2024. Customers who already had the free Good package included with their internet (prior to Sept 13th 2024), will keep the service until they decide to modify their Internet package.

New customers signing up after Sept 14th are given the option to choose if they wish to subscribe to the Better or Best package at a monthly cost of $5/$10.

If you are interested in McAfee Security through Bell, you will need to subscribe to McAfee Better or Best.

This can be added by logging into your MyBell profile and selecting the following options:

  1. After logging into your MyBell account go to your internet service / internet overview.
  2. Select the "Change features" option.
  3. Select the "Security" option.
  4. Select either the McAfee Best or Better add-on.
  5. Click continue.
  6. Review the terms and then click "Accept terms and submit".

Take care.

I use the link in mybell.ca account. I am customer since 2021. I already installed it on my other computer and I want to install it on a new computer.Capture d’écran 2024-12-17 132454.jpg
