Have a look at what was installed in my family room, without my consent!! I only just saw it because I don’t use that part of the house often. This afternoon 5 hours on site two weeks ago. I’ve asked for a tech with at least a dozen years experience to come and fix it. Who’s going to do the wall repair once it’s done???

My fibre box is zip tied to the hydro stack. If you are concerned, you could call 611, but Bell might take a while to respond. A couple of your own long zip ties might be a short term (or permanent) solution. You can buy long zip ties at most hardware stores, electrical supply houses or at building centres like Home Depot.

Thank you being more specific. Zip ties are magic. I suggest you call 310-BELL (2355) and ask for Repair. It's Bell's equipment so it's their problem. If your services are working, I might not be too concerned about a loose box. BTW, I can't see your pictures, for some reason.

We had to pay to relocate our wifi box this weekend, the Bell employee dropped his latter on our breaker in our garage while doing the install, the latter ended up breaking a breaker and now we cannot turn our ventilation system on. We only noticed today since we weren’t sure what breakers he affected… do you think bell can help with this?

Hi,
In September 2021, Bell hired a contractor to install Fiber internet in my neighbourhood. The installation was completed after my sprinkler system had been shut off for the winter. They admittedly damaged my sprinkler system and my lawn. The contractor reassured me that they would be back in the spring to fix the damage.
They did not return in the spring.
I called Bell and nothing was done for months until I stopped paying my bill. I could not get a response let alone any action to get my property damage fixed. Finally after many hours of my time, and weeks & months waiting, they came to look at the problem. A week later they came and repaired part of the problem. I had to call back and and explain that there was still one zone of the sprinkler system that was not repaired. I called back again a couple times and eventually, they told me that the work that was done did not damage the section that was no longer working and that it was my problem and they would not return to fix it.
There is also a section of my lawn that was left as dirt after they dug up the lawn. I have done some repairs myself but it is not the same. It's obvious where the contractor damaged the lawn and left it unrepaired.
Any suggestions on how to proceed?
My only thought is to get the repair completed by a contractor

I trust you have reached out to Bell Customer Service & you have explained your issue to them in detail. Did you ask to speak to a a customer service manager?
If after completing all of the above & you are still not satisfied, you can reach out to the Bell Management Team by reporting a concern.
Be sure to identify your issue clearly, steps taken by customer service representatives (including supervisors), and the results (or lack thereof) obtained. Note the name, employee number, and date of interaction with each customer service representative (including supervisors), contractors, etc.
I can not overly stress the importance of providing accurate & factual details, including dates, times, who you previously talked to, when & what was discussed. Include any before or after photos of the damage that you might have.
If the damage that you mention was clearly caused by a contractor doing work for Bell on you property, then I am very confident that Bell will make it right.
Here is a web contact link for you to use to pursue your issue:

Our street is being marked for fibre cable installation. Can anyone direct me to a Bell contact I can reach to avoid damaged to my home irrigation system when the cable and subsequent drops are placed. The utility location person indicated the job is scheduled for February 2024. I experienced damage to my system when we lived in Oakville and buried plant was installed around our property, it took a month to have it repaired. Thank God I was an employee and got it expedited. No longer in possession of the good contacts in outside plant. Any help to make my Christmas better?

If the fibre cable is damaged by lawn aeration will Bell repair it free of charge. I was installed by hand digging and likely not very deep.

Just signed up for lawn aeration in the spring. I'm concerned that it could damage the fibe cable on the lawn. It was installed by hand and likely not very deep. Have requested a locate (Call before dig) but not sure if they do that for non-utility cables.

Thank you for your question.
In most situations, the Bell service wire to your home is only inches below the ground level. Original buried installations for new housing built years ago, used common joint trenching for all of the services. This is still a common practice today in new developments. Unfortunately, this is not practical in what has now become a well established neighbourhood.
All of the utilities at one time shared one common trench that was @ 3ft in depth. The services were separated & protected from the elements & the home owner.
As time moved on, technology changed, the infrastructure began to wear out & all of us made changes to our property.
Today, most home owners are conscious of the @ location of newly placed services on their property.
When the lawn aerator comes out in the spring, you should mention to them that you have a fibre cable running below the ground. It would be nice if showed him the approximate location.
Most lawn aeration companies are not in business trying to damage your property, buried cables or in many cases causing damage to their aerators.
Most companies will make adjustments in depth or travel path to compensate for this. This also holds true if a homeowner has installed or plans on having a lawn sprinkler system.
If your Outside Service Wire or fibre cable is cut off by accident, I suggest you call 310-BELL (2355) or dial 611 and ask for Repair Service.
Thank you for reaching out & showing concern for your continued service.
Take care.

Bell is currently doing work in my area in Ajax. They are putting in fiber and have had to dig up portions of my lawn and move some interlock. Who/how do I contact anyone for repair? Specific to the interlock, will they do all the work, levelling stamping sand fill etc. Any guidance or experience folks can share would be appreciated.
