Moto E Smartphone can't see Gig Hub network

FYI...

I switched from 1.0 to 1.5 Gb and received a Giga Hub as a result. Most of my devices will connect to the new network but for some reason my Moto E smartphone doesn't even see the network (it saw over 15 others). I called Bell, Motorola and they both said it was the other's fault. Restarted both, Reset network settings on Moto. Defined the network to Moto, I saw posts in here about turning off 5 hz, etc. and getting to the next menu doesn't happen on a Giga Hub. Nothing worked. In desperation, I turned on the guest network and it suddenly appeared as a network on my smartphone. Connected to it and I can now connect to internet. Don't know why but it works.I may try to deteremine why it works but not right away. I also don't the ramifications of using the guest network vs prime network.

Good afternoon @jester.

Welcome to the Bell Community, and thank you for reaching out.

What year/model is your Moto E? Can you also confirm if your Wi-Fi Network is hidden?  A hidden network will not show up in the available Wi-Fi networks.

We recommend that you forget the network on your device, and then try to reconnect. Be sure your network is not hidden so you're able to scan for and see the available networks.

If you do wish to connect to a hidden network check out this moto e support article: Setup and troubleshoot Wi-Fi on the moto eOpens in a new tab or window

Thank you for replying the email. But you did not provide any solution to the customer problem.

I have the exact problem with the wifi. Signing on to the guest network is a work around.

It does not resolve the problem. Do you even understand the problem?
