Hi there @New_Giga. Thanks for your post, and welcome to the Bell Community.

In order for us to best assist, can you please tell us the exact issue that you've noticed with your Wi-Fi coverage? What type of device (Phone/Tablet/laptop) are you using, and can you share the make/model (iOS,Andriod,PC/Mac)? Are you using a VPN or any third-party equipment such as a router or Wi-Fi extender.

A great step you can take is to use the Bell Wi-Fi appOpens in a new tab or window to check the signal strength of all the devices connected to your Internet, then you can move them closer to the modem for a stronger signal if needed. You can also try changing the Wi-Fi frequency your device is using to connect. The 5 GHz band gives you the best speeds but doesn’t reach far, whereas 2.4 GHz has a stronger signal farther from the modem.

Another great option is to run our Virtual Repair toolOpens in a new tab or window when you are having any trouble. Virtual repair helps detect and fix issues as well as optimizes your service and equipment.

Hi there @Ja5on
The 6GHZ frequency is very short but provides a stronger signal, so it is very possible that you may only see the connection when close to the modem.

the new Bell Giga Hub

the wifi 5GHZ signal is really weak and half of the range as the HH4000 can reach.

the 6GHZ is not showing up on any of my devices and i am getting really frustrated about it.

the only solution is to set the signal of 6Ghz channel to 165 and signal bandwidth to 160. at least the wifi6e signal will show up on my Sasmsung S22 ultra.

However, the 5G signal is super weak, if i walk away for 10 ft, the signal is lost. the old HH 4000 never had this problem

Hi there @Ja5on, thanks for reaching out to the Bell Community.

We wanted to check in to see if you were able to check out the questions/tips that we posted above.

Can you also share which 6GHz compatible devices you're using?

Looking forward to your reply.

Like I mentioned above, I use Samsung s22 ultraz. The signal is only showing within 3 meter away from the modem with no walls

I'm with you! The range is really poor. I just had thr new 1.5G white Giga modem installed today...and I still currently have my Virgin modem (Steve) and the speed test comparison are startling. The 31 is the new giga and the 77 is the Virgin with Steve modem. The Giga is along the same wall as the Steve but about 10ft further away. What good is 1.5 to the modem but then 30 to your device?

Hi there @PollinatorInPeel
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Have you tried any of the tips / suggestions listed in this thread?
Are you able to share your device signal strengths when connected?
Do you happen to have the Wi-Fi pods?
Looking forward to hearing back.

Why is my newly installed home hub 3000 give no sigal? I can be literally right beside it and all it is doing on my phone is trying to connect multiple time. And my deaktop is just maybe 7m away from it and only have 1 bar of singal 1 only 1 why! It's not like I'm across the house

Hi there @AA121
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Do you happen to have any devices connected or that you can connect via ethernet connection to test to see how the connection is?
Are you able to connect at all to your Wi-Fi?
Are you using any third party equipment such as a router and if so, can you test your service with it disconnected?
Is there any indicated error message appearing on your modem?
Is this a brand new service that was installed or was this a modem upgrade?
Looking forward to hearing back.

I use Bell Wi-Fi on my iPhone but only have one bar showing (the first bar) How can this be increase?

Hi there @Frustrated9
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
You can get better Wi-Fi signal by moving closer to your modem. Alternatively if you split up your Wi-Fi bands to 2.4ghz and 5ghz, you can connect between the 2 of them to get the best connection possible for where you're located within your home (2.4ghz is best for further distances from the modem and 5ghz is best for distances close to the modem).
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Community.

When I disable WiFI 6E option in my device, the Wifi works perfectly fine. However, enabled wifi 6E option leads to issues with wifi including experiencing connectivity Issues, internet is not working and frequent disconnection from WiFI

Which device are you disabling it from? In general, the higher the WiFi speed the shorter the signal distance will be, so it could be a signal strength issue.
