Hi I just got the student package for 50mbs fibre internet and was wondering how would I go about proving my student status so I won't loose the package?

Hello,

I signed up for the student promotion for fibre 1.5gbps $55/month. It’s been 48 hours since I activated the service after receiving the modem. I did not receive any email to send proof of enrollment and also do not have an account number showing for my service which is now showing active. I called and they keep saying wait a day and you’ll receive and email and every time I’ve waited I haven’t gotten anything. Please advise

We were being charged ~100$ then we transferred for a student promotion. I had to use my student ID at staples then again through email, but I guess I didn't because we don't seem to have a significant decrease. Should I be looking for additionals on my account, or is there a way to enforce the plan after my mistake?

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

I am not quite sure I fully understand what you mean by: " i haven't been given a way to confirm I am a student". Please tell us more. I can interpret this to mean one of two things

  1. You do not have acceptable proof of enrollment for the upcoming 2025 session. or
  2. It is unclear for you as to how to provide proof of enrollment.

Did you sign up for this student promotion online or at a Bell store location? Did you receive a confirmation email outlining the terms & conditions? Do you have a valid student ID? If not, then you will need to provide one within 14 days of activation.

When trying to submit to this webpage it gets stuck on loading after I submit my ID. I have waited for over 2 hours and the page is still loading after submitting. Has my ID been sent in or is there an issue with the webpage?

Good Day.

@swillis Thank you for posting your question. This is a peer-to-peer website. We do not have access to customers account & billing records.

I followed up last evening and once again this morning, the weblink is working. Depending on the time of day when you submitted your student accreditation, there may have been a high volume of other submittals at the same time.

Please try to submit your student identification once again. Here is the web link that you would use to upload this information: Student ID (bell.ca) (Please reference the Additional details section.)

If you experience any further issues, please call: 1 866 676-5221 or 1 866 213-6394 or visit a Bell store.

Let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Take care.
