Switched from 1GB to 1.5GB speed. Do i need to setup anything?!

Hey!

Just made the switch to 1.5gb fibe internet from 1gb.

i have the 4000 modem and i don’t think i need to change anything, but just wanted to ask just in case.

If you had switch from 1Gbps to 3Gbps a technician would probably have been dispatched to put you on a XGSGPON splitter but from 1Gbps to 1.5Gbps is still possible using GPON...

As for the computers you connect to it if they are using WiFi it won't make much difference for only one computer and if they are using Ethernet unless you have recent computer they will not support more than 1Gbps... More recent computers frequently support 2.5Gbps which the 10Gbps port on the HH4000 supports...
