The mail server "imap.bell.net" is not responding

I have a sympatico.ca email which stopped working suddenly. The mail server "imap.bell.net" is not responding is the message.

So you're using client-side email software (like Outlook) to connect to Bell's email servers?

A quick look into this indicates Bell's imap server is down. I assume that Bell is aware of this, but you might want to get in touch with internet tech support: 1-866-310-2355

Also, you could try out Bell's webmail service. start here
