We have Wireless Home Internet. Can I upgrade my Home Hub 2000 to a Hub 3000 or Hub 4000?

Hi there @Marshall123
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Are you able to clarify which internet service you have (Mobile or Wireless Home Internet), as we do not offer a Satellite based internet service?
Based on your posts, we believe you have our WHI service. If you are indeed on our Wireless Home Internet and have a Home Hub 2000, upgrading the modem is not possible.

Typically not for free. You would have to call them, see what they say.

I spoke with a Bell representative. I was very willing to pay more for an upgrade to a Home Hub 3000 or 4000 to get better wifi coverage in my home. In fact, I have already installed 4 Bell wifi pods in my home but continue to have regular drop outs, poor wifi coverage and often need to do a cold reboot the router. Notwithstanding I have line of sight of the Bell tower and we are on the top of a hill. Anyway, the representative stated there were no options for me to either upgrade to another Bell router and I cannot install a third party wifi router that has higher capabilities. In short, I am trapped in using the Bell system….unless I throw out the Bell system and purchase another vendors internet system. I am considering a StarLink system, although the price is higher at least I will have reliable internet service and not beholden to an “over the barrel” policy controlled by Bell.

Yes, we have wireless home internet. I will stay with the HH2000 for the time being and hopefully the HH2000 will have an upgrade very soon. In the meantime I am going to try relocating my pods and hoping that will permit better wifi coverage.
