Home Hub 3000 - error 6001 and Red X on TV screen

Our modem has a message "error 6001 (Tel 1 & 2) Voice service not configured" and our TV screen has a red X on it with the number 1 under it (sometimes the number changes to 3 or 8).

We have unplugged everything, and rebooted ... but the error message and the red X remain.

We are performing the "virtual repair tool", but it has been showing as "loading data, please wait" for quite a while

Hi there @AMC
Upon checking, it is recommend that you essentially do a factory reset of the receiver. Please note that all recordings will be deleted during a factory reset. If the Red X still appears afterwards, you will most likely require a replacement receiver. To perform a factory reset on the receiver, please follow these steps:

On the receiver press simultaneously and hold Power + OK + DOWN arrow, until all the 3 lights: (Link, HD, Record) is lit on the receiver
Release only the power button but Keep the OK + DOWN arrow pressed.
Once the 3 lights start flashing you release OK + DOWN arrow
Follow the on screen instructions once showing

Looking forward to hearing back how that goes.

Thank you.

I did not do a factory re-set, but I did remove the receiver for 24 hours, and when I re-connected it worked.  Not sure for how long, so we will still pursue other options.

Hi there @AMC
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Are you able to share which Fibe TV receiver model you have?
Looking forward to hearing back.

Thank you - we have a VIP2262 HD PVR receiver, which is the one not working.
We also have a 2502 Wireless HD receiver which is working.

Hi @AMC
Are you receiving error code 6001 or 6011?

The error code on the modem is 6001 (Tel 1 & 2)
