Bell phone shows as connected to virgin plus on Speedtest from my home on wifi.
My wife’s phone is showing the same, why?
We have been on Bell for years and it has always shown up as Bell.

What you are seeing is normal behaviour and not related to your actual connection. Virgin Plus is a Bell flanker brand, so you are still connected to Bell.
In speed tests, the test itself locates the nearest and fastest service. It can be a Bell, Bell Mobility Virgin or another provider's server. The software then runs the speed test.
You don't identify your phone and operating system. If you could be more specific, that might be helpful. I also suggest you reboot your phone (power it on and off) and see if that changes anything.

Not sure what you are seeing, but go to this web site with a browser and it should show your current IP and information, including your Internet Service Provider (Bell): https://www.showmyip.com/

Thanks for your reply. Our phones are iPhone’s 16 running iOS 18.5. I’ve rebooted them and also rebooted the router numerous times and still showing virgin plus.
i should state that this has only happened since last week.

It says Bell and wifi calling also says Bell.
I think I am going to leave it now as it is not causing any problems.
Thanks all for your input.

Thank you. It may well go away. But if it works right now, that's a good outcome.
