My Iphone 7 Plus on a prepaid plan only shows "Unknown Number" for all incoming calls. My prepaid plan includes the "Call display and Message Centre Express" feature.
Is there a setting that needs to be made to my account to turn on call display?

I just recently activated a new phone with new sim and all incoming calls shows "unknown". I have called support and they said they would fix it and I don't have to do anything. After a day, all my incoming calls now show "private number". It's really frustrating since I waited a long time to call support and they promised to fix it.

Did you purchase this device from Bell? What is the make & model of your phone?
Have you tried doing a restart / full power off of your device since contacting Bell?
Incoming Caller ID has nothing to do with any settings on your device. That is controlled by the carrier and the caller.
I'd start with contacting your Bell Mobility Customer Support and ask them once again about your your caller line identification settings which may need to be activated.
Thank you for contacting the Bell Community Forum.
Take care.

Hey there @Mark5 ,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
We wanted to check in to see if you had a chance to complete the troubleshooting tip that @WelshTerrier suggested? From time to time when a correction is applied to your account, there might be a small delay before it's completion and all it needs is a fresh connection to the network (restart - fully power off device, wait 2-5 minutes and power back on).
Try that out and let us know the outcome.

Hey there @AuZ ,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
It sounds like some basic features might be missing from your plan. Have you verified within MyBell to see if the features were present?
Please do keep the Community updated with the results or if your concern is resolved.

I recently upgraded to a new plan and phone (S24+) and my callerid and voicemail won't work even though it's included in my plan. It worked fine on my old phone (S4).
Thanks.

Good morning & Welcome to the Bell Community.
Just following up to see if you are still experiencing the same problem?
You mentioned that Caller ID & Voicemail are not working? Have you checked your phone settings on your new device?
Here are a few suggestions:
- Verify your phone setting - Silence Unknown Callers
- Have you set up your voicemail on your new device?
- Are your calls going directly to voicemail?
- Is your iOS / OS up to date? Apps current?
- Have you powered your device completely off, then back on?
- Have you contacted Bell Customer Service Mobility tech support?
Let us know if we can provide you with any further assistance.
Take care.

Hey folks, I migrated my "working perfectly well" Bell Samsung S20+ to the new Samsung S24+ in early March. Since then, seemingly randomly, although the Bell store here migrated my old phone over to the new one, my contacts seem to come up as "unknown" caller. Worse, I am being told that when colleagues try to call me on my usual number, they can't get through and get an "unavailable" message. I'm not notified at all. Calling me on 8x8 etc. works though.
I also got the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 from Bell when I got the new phone from Bell, and its number I think is paired with my phone number.
What's going on? I've rebooted a few times, updated to the newest Android OS a couple of times (the last one yesterday) and don't have privacy or block settings enabled as far as I can tell. Help?

I have just upgraded my phone from Google Pixel 6 to Pixel 8 and after completing all data and contact transfers, my call display is not working. I have the same plan as previously. Why will it not display my contacts when they call or even a phone number?

I recently upgraded to the Samsung Ultra 24+, now every call I get is listed as private number. Where in my settings can I fix this?
Thank you.

Good Day.
Your Caller Line Identification may need to be activated.
The information about the number that is calling you is sent to your phone/tablet by Bell. (Bell Mobility). If the carrier (Bell)does not send this information, the incoming call will be displayed as being from a private number. This could mean that your caller ID display service is not enabled on the SIM card.
Try rebooting your device by turning your phone completely off. Remove & reinstall your SIM. Power your device back on & place a call to your phone from another line.
If this does not resolve your issue, you will need to contact Bell Mobility Tech Suppport to have this feature activated on your Samsung S24+.
Take care.
