Global 365 Day Travel Pass eligibility/ Roaming Plans

Hello.

Can someone explain what is the requirement for being eligible  for the Global 365 Day $100 Travel Pass?  I currently have 2 lines.  One with Can/US/ some Intl calling and Can/US but both of these are not eligible for the Global 365 Day $100 Travel Pass Also,  Bell only has a 14 day Travel Data Roaming plan @$70.  The competitors both have a 30 day $60 Roaming plan.  Does anyone know if Bell will be implementing something similar?

I really wish there was someway to get in touch with a Bell Manager/Director that actually had some authority and power to make a decision on this 365 Travel pass. Everyone here has an opinion, but with no concrete power to influence policy. Disappointing customer service.

Good Day & Welcome.

Thank you for your follow-up & feedback.

You are absolutely correct. Everyone on this community website has an opinion. The purpose of the Bell Community Forum is to provide a place for you to seek and share support, insights and information about Bell products and services with other like-minded users.

We do not have the power to make policy changes. We can only try to help each other out by asking and answering questions, sharing thoughts, ideas and solutions.

We do not set the eligibility criteria for enrolling into the Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass. There is little else I can offer up or suggest to you that will change this for you.

Account & billing Issues such as this cannot be resolved on this website. If there was something more that I could do for you, I would.

Should you encounter an issue as you have indicated, Bell has a clear process in place to address your needs.

You are correct, to a point. This is a peer to peer forum. Community All-Stars such as @WelshTerrier and myself answer user questions to the best of our ability. We have no access to user accounts and no influence with any Bell policy. @WelshTerrier has offered the best suggestions on how to escalate a concern.

I have the $100 365 day plan. I also have the roam better plan with home plan. When I travel to a country where there is a roam better plan (let’s say Buenos Aires - Argentina) will I be charged 15$ a day or will it be included in the 365/day plan?  Do I have to call and cancel the roam better plan?

it says the 365 plan will kick in when in a country that is NOT covered by roam better plan.  That makes no sense to me.

Canadani,

I'm sorry I cannot answer your question as I do not have access to the 365 Travel Pass. I was never lucky enough to get the offer. Only special people get it.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

You will not be charged the $16.00 / day international roaming fee if you have the Global 365-day Travel Pass.

The Global 365-day Travel Pass is valid in Roam Better destinations. Your Bell Mobility plan must allow for the addition of Roam Better. Do not cancel your Roam Better plan.

The Global 365-day Travel Pass provides you with unlimited talk and text to Canada and within your destination, plus access to your data while roaming.

The pass is a non-refundable, prepaid pass and you won't be billed any daily roaming charges when travelling. It activates immediately upon purchase and is a cost-effective way to manage roaming charges for extended travel in less common international destinations.

Travel Passes will take priority over Roam Better if you activate it while already enrolled in a Roam Better daily plan.

The only restriction or rule so to speak would be for countries that roaming is not supported, or while on a flight or a cruise ship.  In these cases, either a Global 365 or a Roam Better user would both be subject to pay-per-use rates

Take care.
