Please provide further details.
Is this a Bell Email address? If so, you need to change your Email password, by logging in to MYBell on the web > Go to Services > Select Internet > Select Manage Email address > Follow the prompts and save your new password.
This will change your Bell Email password.
Depending on the mail client you are using in your iPhone will need to make this same password change.
As an example, if you are using an iPhone using the default Mail app > Select settings > Scroll down to Mail & select > Select Accounts > Select your Mail account > Select your Email address > Select Password > Enter the new password & follow the screen prompts to save it. Exit from there & that is it.

I have followed your steps to update the password in my phone settings (now that I updated my password on Bell mail) however I still cannot send an email. Error message says: Cannot send mail - The user name or password for email is incorrect.
Can anyone provide some guidance please?

Have you reviewed my earlier instructions that were provided? ( Please review these & adjust the mail device changes for your device.)
Did you change your email password on MYBell?
Have you tried logging in your Bell webmail account with a web browser?
If you are using a web email client or if you have previously saved your password on your device, you need to delete the old & replace with the new password information.
