Long distance charges

Do others from my local area get long distance charges when calling me out of the area?

It would depend on their monthly plan with their respective provider as to whether not they receive long distance charges for calling outside their local area.

Generally speaking though, most if not all offered plans nowadays include nationwide calling.

Perhaps I need to clarify the question posted.  Here is a hypothetical situation that might help - say my local calling area is Brantford, Ontario and I'm in Toronto and receive a phone call from family in the Brantford area.  If the caller does not have a long distance plan, would they be charged for calling me out of the local area (in this case Toronto)?

If they're a Bell customer, they can refer to details in their monthly plan, and our support page on How am I billed if I use my mobile phone outside my local calling area?

Otherwise if they're not a Bell customer, they'll need to refer to provider's policy.

With unlimited everything do I get charged for roaming , long distance when in another province or is everything the same as being in manitoba

Last time I checked,  Newfoundland & Labrador were a part of Canada.
