Prepaid balance is going to expire even the balance is positive

My prepaid account balance is positive and far more above my monthly plan cost. The amount is able to pay out the coming 8 months! However, I still receive a message from Bell that my account will be expiring in the coming month. How come it could happen? Is Bell going to suspend my mobile plan and steal my money away?

Please check your Pre-paid mobility mobility agreement on MyBell. All of the terms & conditions are spelled out in this document.

If you are in disagreement with this & have been notified that your account is going to be suspended, I would contact Bell Mobility Customer billing & orders and discuss this with them. Their number is: 1-888-537-9999 or dial #321 from your Bell device. Billing issues such as this can not be resolved on this forum.

Are you saying that KY will lose the excess funds they have paid because they have not paid monthly? I am in a similar situation where I stand to lose 4 months' billing. There is no option to pay less than the monthly charge either.

I have a prepaid account with surplus balance, my phone recently died can I use the credit on the account to purchase a new device for this account?

I tried letting my account just use the funds by stopping the automatic top-up. But recieved notice of deactivation because there was no top up.

The balance is +85$ credit on the account,

My prepaid service is 15$/month , with tax it's a bit over.

I used the option Top-up of 20$ for a while.. now it's almost +100$ in the account

The way I was told at the store I could stop payments and the balance would use itself because there is a surplus..

obviously from statements there is a window to use the money, 60 days.. but what do I do with the extra money sitting there?

Yes. Apparently you have x amount of days when you top up the account for those funds to be used. When I removed the auto top-up they sent the deactivation notice. In the deactivation notice it said all funds would be lost if I didn't apply pay the monthly service. Even though the funds in the account were greater than the bill. I just applied more funds to keep the account in good standing. But now I'm left with this higher surplus (credit) on the account.

I tried calling bell but never get a call back. I asked a bell store employee (physical location) and they said they couldn't help me, that I would have to call in.

It's only been a couple months since I have tried to fix this situation.

I had the same issue. They will deactivate your account and any funds in your account will be gone. The fine print says you only have so much time to use the funds, you need to still pay the monthly fee for your account to be in good standings.

I just would like to know how to if I can upgrade my device with those funds or if they can mail me a cheque.

There is no option for the credit to be applied to your balance currently. Unless some helpful bell employee could make it happen in the near future.
