Samsung Chat Features

I recently got an s23 ultra. I bought it from someone off Kijiji. I am trying to get the chat features in the stock Samsung Messaging App but they seem to have disappeared. Anyone know how I can get them back? Please DO NOT tell me to use Google Messages. I DO NOT want to. I want to use the Samsung Message App as I prefer it. Thank you

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post. 

If the app is missing from your phone, you can try a factory reset to bring your phone back to it's factory state. Another option is to visit the Galaxy Store to locate the app and download it to your phone again.
