Cancel account prepaid mobility account

Hi,

I recently got a prepaid account and since i am not using the phone number at all , i want to cancel it. is there a number that i should call to cancel my services or is it better to wait for 3 months and let the account expire by itself? i only topped up the account one time, and i know if i dont top up for 3 months it will expire.

To cancel your prepaid account, select the MyBell app on your device
  1. Launch the MyBell app on your device.
  2. Touch Balance.
  3. Touch Manage under Your automatic top-up status.
  4. Touch CANCEL PRE-AUTHORIZED PAYMENTS.
  5. Confirm you want to cancel pre-authorized top-ups and touch SUBMIT.
  6. Your pre-authorized top-ups have been cancelled.

If you do not wish to continue your prepaid service, please be aware that any balance remaining on the account at deactivation will be lost and non-refundable.

You can also contact Bell Mobility to cancel your service  by dialing: #321 from a Bell device or call 1 888 537-9999

If your account is registered for automatic top-up, please contact Bell to have it stopped or follow the instructions that I have provided below. Once you have completed this, the account will be automatically deactivated after 90 days of inactivity. There would be no further need to contact Bell.

Cancel pre-authorized top-ups now

MyBell app

  1. Launch the MyBell app on your device.
  2. Touch Balance.
  3. Touch Manage under Your automatic top-up status.
  4. Touch CANCEL PRE-AUTHORIZED PAYMENTS.
  5. Confirm you want to cancel pre-authorized top-ups and touch SUBMIT.
  6. Your pre-authorized top-ups have been cancelled.

MyBell (Web)

  1. Log in to MyBell.
  2. Scroll down to and select Change pre-authorized top-up.
  3. Select Cancel pre-authorized top-ups and select Next.
  4. Confirm you want to cancel pre-authorized top-ups and select Submit.
  5. Your pre-authorized top-ups have been cancelled.

I need to cancel my bell prepay account because I am now back in new Zealand. How do I cancel my account?
