Credit Union not listed for preauthorized payments from bank account

My credit union branch is not in the list when I am supposed to select my bank. I was told via chat there is no way to add it. How is that possible? SOMEONE must be able to add to this list! Any info on that?  Thanks

Hi Welsh Terrier, This is the exact  same response you gave me when I asked this question FOUR MONTHS AGO.  I have been checking the list periodically, as you suggested, and can confirm that Bell has still not added my credit union (Island Savings Credit Union) in that time.  It would seem that no one at Bell is remotely interested in solving this issue in a timely way.  Can you please tell me WHEN you will update your list of financial institutions?  I would like to set up pre authorized payments, and would like to pay the rate I was quoted (which requires pre authorized payments to be set up).  Thanks for your attention to this simple customer service request.

Good Day.

@Jane Doe   Thank you for your feedback and gracious reply.

As a starting point, I do not work for Bell. I am a Bell Community member just as you are. I was doing my best to assist in resolving the issue that your credit union was missing on Bell's approved list of banks.

You posted your request on April 22, 2025. I replied to your post on the same day with the following:

"A Bell Forum moderator will forward your request to add your Credit Union to the financial institution list. One thing to keep in mind, any updates to this list may take some time to be corrected. Please periodically check the list or app to see when it will be updated."

A Bell moderator replied to you on this same date with the following:

"We've forwarded the missing institution to be verified and corrected. One thing to keep in mind, any updates of the sort may take some time to be corrected. With this being said, check for app updates and the list periodically to see when it will be updated."

I will leave this with you to ponder. A moderator submitted your request to add your credit union to the list & it may take some time for this to be completed.

There is nothing more I can do to help you out.

Take care.

Hey there @DFNel ,

Welcome to the community and thanks for bringing this to our attention.

We've forwarded the missing institution to be verified and corrected.

One thing to keep in mind, any updates of the sort may take some time to be corrected. With this being said, check for app updates and the list periodically to see when it will be updated.

@Jane Doe  we've forwarded your concern to be verified.

In the meantime we hope that you all have a great day.

Thank you, and apologies for assuming you worked for Bell!  I hope that someone on this community forum does, otherwise it appears to be a bunch of people shouting into the wind.  I called Bell about two months ago (public service announcement for anyone reading this- if you look on their website very, very hard, there is a number to call to speak to a human being, be prepared to wait on hold for awhile), where I was told the same thing- they will add my credit union (and others) to their list of financial institutions for pre authorized payments, however they can provide no time estimate for how long this will take.  It appears to be a very simple thing to do, so I can only speculate why it would take so long. Anyhow, thanks for your reply and take care

Thank you, and I hope this can be figured out soon.  There are four people in my family who would all like to set up pre authorized payments, both for convenience and to take advantage of the lower monthly rate that we were quoted when we switched to Bell.  I truly hope you can add Island Savings Credit Union to your list of financial institutions soon, as well as all the other credit unions people are asking about on this forum.

I can't find Radius Credit Union as an option for setting up pre-authorized payments. How do I get it added ?

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

If your credit union supports this type of payment, please verify what their name would be listed as? You should also verify with them the correct spelling as well.

A Bell Forum moderator will forward your request to add your Credit Union to the financial institution list. One thing to keep in mind, any updates to this list may take some time to be corrected. Please periodically check the list or app to see when it will be updated.

Let us know if you require any further assistance.

Hello to all. Like everyone, encountered a lot of trouble trying to set up Autopay when the bank is not listed.  What I found is that the MyBell app autopay screen has a limited list of banks in the dropdown, with lots of common institutions missing.

However if you set up Autopay on the desktop website, the form is slightly different and you can type in your bank or credit union name, and it will be matched for you after you submit.  The credit union name you typed in will be replaced with the processor name and should hopefully work.

So if the phone device MyBell app does not show your credit union or bank name, try the desktop website setup instead.

Dear BellAntgio, here is another major bank that needs to be added to your MyBell app drop down list.

The name is Conexus Credit Union.  The codes are 889 and 42598.

I have already verified that Conexus and Bell do exchange payments and have for many years.  Setting up using the desktop Bell website form screen does appear to work, although it changes the name from Conexus to something else.

You'll just need to update the drop down list that appears in the MyBell phone app with the Conexus name and codes.

People's Bank of Canada under bank # 383 is unavailable in the autopay list, please add it so I can use my primary financial institution for autopay.
