My credit union branch is not in the list when I am supposed to select my bank. I was told via chat there is no way to add it. How is that possible? SOMEONE must be able to add to this list! Any info on that? Thanks

Found it with a name slightly different. Search the entire list not just where you think it should be!

Additionally, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We've flagged Servus Credit Union to be added to our list of financial institutions for pre-authorized payments. As mentioned by @BellAntgio prior, please keep in mind that any updates of the sort may take some time to be corrected. With this being said, check for app updates and the list periodically to see when it will be updated.

Thanks @BellAntgio I found the answer to my question, and it is “yes”! The credit will be applied if and when my credit union gets listed.

I can’t seem to find my bank “Vancity” (credit union) on the options list does anyone know if it’s under a different named company or bank?

I am trying to change my bank account online but my financial instituation does not show up on the list even though I am currently using the same financial institution to pay my invoice now.
Bank/institution Alterna Savings and Credit Union, which is the financial institution for government employees
I looked through the entire list, and, no, Alterna Bank is not the same financial institution.
I have spoken to Bell by phone as well as 2 Bell stores and received differing information.
I know this Credit Union allows Bell PADs to occur since the payment is coming out of the current account on file.
Is there some way this can be escalated so this financial institution can be added quickly? Although I would like to stay with Bell I may need to change my service provider if this simple issue cannot be resolved.

It appears that this is not possible to get the list updated. I have spent the last 2-1/5 hours on the phone with customer service, to essentially be told I can't be helped. I guess that if any new banks come in to existence in the future, they are SOL when it comes to being an option for Bell customers to use as a banking source. Absolutely dumbfounding....
I've only been a customer with Bell for the last 10 days now, and I am already fed up with them and may just go back to my previous provider.
Before a moderator responds with what appears to be a canned reply, yes my bank supports this type of payment (as I have ALL of my other bills on PAP), so you are going to have to skip to the next line in your Customer Reply Script.

We would love to set up the pre-auth payments but our credit union (Assiniboine Credit Union) in Manitoba isn't listed.

I am also trying to add Alterna Savings as a pre-authorized payment option but they don't show up as an option? How could this be possible? Please change this field to an institution number instead of a drop down list that doesn't include all banks.

We've confirmed that "Newfoundland & Labrador Credit Union / CR Union" and "Newfoundland / Newfoundland & Labrador CR UN LTD" are both available as payee options when completing payment online via MyBell.
We would recommend reviewing and double checking for any spelling errors.
