Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
This is a peer-to-peer website. As such we do not have access to your account & billing details.
The bill in question, was it a late payment? Did Bell receive this payment by the due date? How did you pay this bill? Have you confirmed with your financial institution the date it was processed & forwarded to Bell? Was this payment made on a business day during the week?
Bell processes all bill payments upon receipt. Your issue may be more related to the timing of when you paid your bill & your method of payment.
The chart I have included in this link is only a reference point for you to use. It is intended to allow you sufficient time to pay your bill by the due date.
How long does it take for my Bell payment to be processed?
I would suggest that you contact your bank & Equifax. They should be able to provide you with further details. It will be up to them to adjust your credit report.
Thank you for posting your question.
Take care.

Was your bill payed by the due date? Is this the first time you missed paying your bill? Is there any outstanding balance? Were you contacted by Bell? Credit collection agency?
Have you discussed your account with Bell?
I can only wish you good luck! You will need to contact Equifax.
If Bell or Equifax made a mistake, I am quite sure they will make it right.
It is up to you to reach out to them.
There is little I can do to help you here on the Community Forum.
I wish I could do more, but it is too late now.
There is not much I can do once the chickens have flown the coup!
Let us know if there is something that can be done further to help you.
Take care....

Thank you for your question. As this is a user to user forum, we do not have access to account and billing matters. You will have to dispute the entry with Equifax directly.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
Your score is controlled by you & only you. If you are paying your bills in full & on time, then there would be no real reason to for you to worry about your credit score.
Have you discussed your account with Bell?
The main factors involved in calculating a credit score are:
- Your payment history
- Your used credit vs. your available credit
- The length of your credit history
- Public records
- Number of inquiries into your credit file is a minor factor.
There are two main credit bureaus in Canada:
- Equifax
- TransUnion
The following link is from the Government of Canada web site.

Take care.

CCTS!!!!! Complain to them. I was dealing with a nightmare on my credit report. Bell reporting an account as closed that was VERY much open….
the more complaints we file with the ccts hopefully will put an end the untrue credit reports they keep filing
