What does a CR on my bill mean?

What does "CR xx "on my bill denote? Does it mean that xx money is already present in my account and that I don't need to make any payment?

It is so confusing.

How did you pay your bill? If you had already set up Pre-authorized payments & then chose to pay your bill in advance in some other fashion, E.g. Through your financial institution, or as a One time payment on MyBell or in person at the bank or by cheque etc., it can take between 5-10 business for this to be processed & the funds forwarded to Bell to apply your account. Once the funds are received, your account will be credited & you will be able to view the credit on MyBell.

Your easiest & best method of payment is setting up Pre-authorized payments on MyBell in One Bill.

Overpayment

If you overpaid your account, contact your credit card company or financial institution immediately to reverse payment. Otherwise, the credit balance will carry over to next month’s bill, reducing the amount owing.

i have pre authorized payment so will the CR amount will be charged? Or it means I will get refund?

If you see CR that means that there is an outstanding credit, and no payment would be due.

The CR amount will be applied to your next bill.

Generally speaking, when the conditions justifying the deposit have changed (typically, when you make six monthly bill payments in a row, in full and on time) the security deposit is applied to any outstanding balance owing or refunded to you.

If you see CR that means that there is an outstanding credit, and no payment would be due.

The CR amount will be applied to your next bill.

Was this credit related to a security deposit? If so, Bell will apply the security deposit and any earned interest against any outstanding amount owing on your next bill, then refund you the balance of the deposit, if any, within 30 days.

Why does my phone bill show a cr?  My phone is on suspension?

Hi , my account is showing CRxxx which I think it is Credit that I have , how can I use my credit for my monthly bill payment ? Do I need to do anything? Or automatically will be deducted .  Should I turn off my pre authorized payment ?
thanks

If your account is showing: “CR $xx.xx” that is great news.  That means you have either overpaid  or have a credit / security deposit that has been returned & applied to your account. There is nothing you need to do. This credit will be applied to your next bill reducing the amount owing.

There is no need to adjust your pre-authorized. It will self adjust based on the credit being applied to your account.

Thank you for your question.

Enjoy.

Take care.
