Why does it take 7 days to get a replacement modem? No followup stating it would be delayed

Well now it depends. Seven days is pretty well the guaranteed standard delivery date by most delivery services.. Delivery dates are set by suppliers & service providers such as Purolator & Canada Post. With this goal in mind, their ultimate measure of success is delivering their service to you sooner rather than later.
Will it take seven days, probably not. Would you be happier if you were next day & it came in 3, 5, or 7 days later ?Depending on when you call, early morning, afternoon, evening, overnight or on a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday delivery times can vary significantly.
Not everyone in Canada has next day delivery service. Some locales do not receive daily mail o even any form of parcel pickup or delivery with in the same week.
Can delivery service improve, hope so! Not everyone lives in a large urban area. If you do, you might have your modem the next day or the day after..
Promises of delivery are always contingent on the elements, weather, distance, roads, etc. It is also dependant upon people transportation, equipment & ultimately time!
Is it getting better? Look back at the pandemic and ask yourself this simple question? Is it better today than then?
Will it get better? Betcha....
Ideas for improvement are always welcomed. If you have any suggestions for improvement, please do not hesitate to share them with everyone on this forum. That is what this Community forum is all about!

I do not work for Bell but I am proud & privileged to be able to help others out when there is a need for help.

Hello Team,
I recently ordered for bell internet service and I was given a delivery date of 4th august and for some reason the shipment was kept on hold and upon further checking got to know that the info entered in the bell kiosk wasn’t transmitted completely to canada post and my shipment was on hold without any proper explanation and notification.I called the canada post to confirm on my details and I was told that they will confirm and ship the product only by Wednesday . Is there a way for Bell to expedite the request and help me with the shipment latest by tomorrow?I have been having round robin conversations with multiple personnel’s and it is endless at this point .Appreciate your understanding and extended support .

I ordered 1.5gb internet at the store close to my area on August 12, 2023. The salesperson said I will receive my modem on August 14, 2023. I am disappointed.
