Good day & Welcome to the Bell Community
These are messaging codes used by Bell Mobility to track & record a text message sent & received from your device. This is just one of a number of texting codes used. Depending on your mobility plan, and what you are sending / receiving & the the application that is being used, there may or may not be a charge related to this.
You should review your Bell Mobility agreement for a better understanding of what is included.
Text messaging, also known as “texting”, is the sending and receiving of short, text-based messages between mobile phones.
There are two types of short code programs:
- Standard programs (such as Facebook® and Twitter) - Messages sent to and received from standard programs will come out of allotted messages in your rate plan or bundle. Otherwise, standard messaging rates apply.
- Interactive text alerts - premium programs
Please see the following for detailed information & a brief explanation.
