On the Fibe app program guide, there are programs with the house icon in the corner that say they can only be watched at home while connected to wi-fi, and Iām unable to watch them. But I am at home on wi-fi and without a VPN. Why would I be restricted from these?

Good day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum
You are correct. All channels on Satellite TV are not necessarily available on the Fibe app.
Channel availability will depend on whether you live in Ontario & Quebec or elsewhere in Canada & if you are at home or on the go.
Please reference the following web link that I have included below. Open the section called: Using the Fibe TV App. The information is explained in this section: Important Note: Satellite TV Customer details.
What is the Fibe TV App?

Hi there @Beushy
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Some channels provide the ability to watch the station on the Fibe TV app, whether at home or out of home. Some stations only allow viewing on the receiver or on the Fibe TV app while connected to your home internet through Bell (WHI / Wireless Home Internet excluded).
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Community.

I'll have you know that after a week of subscribing to Bell Fibe and encountering this problem, I just got off the phone with a technician and after walking me through it all and fixing problems on Bell's end, I now have all the channels able to watch live!!! So it was on Bell's end but only because of a mix up with some account issues. Too long to explain. Thanks.

Could you please provide me with a few more details? I trust you are referencing Guide in the Fibe TV app?
For example, which stations & channel numbers are experiencing a problem with that can not be watched from home? (Some stations, can not be viewed when you are not at home?)
Which device are you using? Is it up date in terms of iOS, OS, apps, etc.? Have you rebooted your device?
How are you connecting to Fibe TV app? Easiest Wi-Fi method or Best using your MyBell or My Account credentials to connect to your Bell network.
Have you checked your app settings? E.g. Parental Controls, etc.; Your Fibe TV filter settings? E.g. Subscribed, Availability, Favourites, etc.
Please let me know how you make out. Take care.

Thanks for the reply. It is mostly American network channels, but also TVO, APTN. They have a house icon and when chosen, a message says it can only be watched at home connected to Bell wi-fi. This is when Iām using Fibe on my iPad. Itās fairly new and updated. I have no issue with not being able to watch them away from home. I can watch them on TV, but I use the iPad to watch in bed. Iām not at home right now to check any changes you suggest. These screen shots are taken at work, but it looks the same at home. Does any of that suggest what the problem may be?

Which Bell Fibe TV package are you subscribed to? Have you looked at the settings that I suggested.
Did you check you login?
Log out, power your device completely down. Log back in to Fibe TV app. using your MyBell or My Account credentials. Your Fibe TV & Internet, should be shown as services & connected in MyBell? Are they?
If the problem is still there, you may need to contact Bell Fibe TV tech support at: 1 866 797-8686

I have this issue as well. Itās been months and in the Fibe app all of the American channels I subscribe to, all Omni channels and Citytv channels all have the house icon and say I cannot watch unless connected to my home wifi while I *AM* at home on my wifi. I donāt even *have* data on my phone or my iPad to even watch them elsewhere if I tried. Iāve tried the suggestions here, Iāve googled for answers multiple times and nothing seems to help. I would just like to be able to watch ALL of the channels I pay for in other rooms of my house where I donāt have a TV. Can you please help fix this issue?

Over time Iāve come to believe that the problem is my VPN. Even when itās off, I think having used it can interfere. So if my VPN is off but I still get those houses and am blocked from watching, Iāll restart my iPad and that seems to solve it.
