I have a 6141 and 6500 HD receivers.  Is one better or newer than the other?

Thanks

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

The 6500 HD is the newer of the two receivers. It is not being offered any longer. It has been used recently as an upgraded receiver to replace the outdated 4100 SD receiver.

Both receivers support HD. The 6141 is considerable older than 6500 HD.

The 6500 uses the Slim Remote which can be replaced new from Bell. It is easier to use & setup.

The 6141 uses the Basic remote & is only available as a refurbished model. You can connect an external hard drive to play recordings.

It is no longer being offered by Bell Satellite today.

Take care.
