To connect it with an ethernet cable, aka hardwired connection. See here

Hello,

can I use the Ethernet port to connect my tv to the internet using hardwire like I use to be able to with my previous bell fibe tv box I had ? My tv keeps giving me an error msg.

Hi there @Jjzh
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Yes, you can use an ethernet connection from the 7802 receiver to the modem. Are you able to share the error message / code you are receiving?
Looking forward to hearing back.

I would like to connect my 7802 box to the modem with an ethernet cable. After I connect the cable do have to go into device settings on the box or just reboot the 7802 box?  Thanks for any help.
