I keep getting kicked off my bell fibe tv app after more than 2 users in my house use the account. Is there a way to have more than 2 devices using the service at the same time?

I have had similar problems to everyone else. I have a daughter away at university using the app or website on her computer and I am at home watching TV on my Apple TV box which uses the Bell Five app. I have the Al TV package. With two of us streaming, I thought I would be fine. I think many of us misinterpret the rules thinking you could have two streaming away from home and two streaming in the house on the Bell Wi-Fi. When I phoned in and talked to customer support and complained that I was having these issues, they always point me to the number of devices, and when I looked up the number of devices, there were only three registered. The service rep continue to tell me that it’s not about the number of devices that are watching it’s about the number of devices that are logged in. So in my case while I’m watching it on my Apple TV box, my iPad and my iPhone both have the app and I’m logged in on both of them, but neither of them are open and being used. And the rep said that was enough to trigger the too many devices message.
Bell needs to do better in explaining this and the at home / away from home usage.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
Thank you for posting your concern.
To use the app remotely, you need to login with your MyBell credentials & have access to a Wi-Fi network. You would choose the "Best" way connecting in this case. Please refer to the instructions that I have included in this reply.
- You can use the Bell Fibe TV app away from home and access On Demand, recordings and select content on Live TV.
- You can use the Fibe TV app on multiple devices at once. Simply install the app on each device and enjoy.
Fibe TV app service:
- When connected to your home Bell Wi-Fi, you can have two devices watching content simultaneously and unlimited devices registered.
- When not connected to your home Bell Wi-Fi, you can have two devices watching content simultaneously and five devices registered. A maximum of two devices can stream simultaneously; however, only one can watch live television.
Here is a link to better assist you in using the Fibe TV App:
Fibe TV app setup, and instructions on to use it.
FYI Only. If need be, you can easily remove a device in the menu section of the Bell Fibe TV app. Please note, once a device is removed you will need to wait thirty days before you can add it back.
My apologies for the issues and misunderstanding you have experienced with the Fibe TV App.
Take care.

It looks like I can now add fibe app to my older (5ish years) LG TV. All looks good but it's saying I have to disconnect a device as I have too many. It gives me a link but no idea how to do do it. All help that works would be great. Thank you

Hi there @Cosmo1
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Using Netflix and Prime Video should have no impact on watching the content from the Fibe TV app on your other devices.
When you indicate "Streamer box" are you referring to the Bell Streamer or a receiver and if so, can you share which receiver model(s)?
On your Firestick, are you trying to use the Fibe TV app? If so, can you share what exactly is happening and have you tried rebooting your Firestick?
Looking forward to hearing back.

You may have corrupted cookies.
For example, under Chrome/Chromium, click on the 3 vertical dots at the right upper corner.
Click on Settings.
Click on Privacy and security.
Click on Third-party cookies.
Look for "See all site data and permissions" and click on it.
In the search textbox field in the upper right, type bell.
You'll get bell.ca and probably two other domains (one is glassboxdigital.io). Click the button "Delete displayed data" or each individual trashcan.
Close and reopen your browser and go to https://tv.bell.ca
Check if you can stream your recordings or your channels.
Hope it solves your problem like it did mine.
Solution is similar for edge and other chrome based browsers.
