I'm trying to activate the Global TV app on my TV. I put in the code and tried to login with the mybell account. It doesn't do anything. Please help.

Just a quick update: As of January 11th our escalations team implemented a fix to resolve this for everyone.
If you are still having any trouble we recommend that you uninstall and reinstall the application, then test to see if the issue persists.
Please keep the Community posted, we're here to help if you need anything else.

I finally after deleting again and logging in on my phone on the global tv activate with the code on the tv.

I had to delete the app on my tv a couple times and try the code from the global tv app from my tv on my computer or phone a couple times before it would work. I never logged into Bell on my computer but went to https://watch.globaltv.com/activate

Wdym? No response or? Have you checked whether it’s available on Bell? The picture quality on Global TV app and website aren’t good.

Can you please share a photo of the error message with us?
When signing into the Global TV app be sure that on the login screen, you click on 'Through My TV Provider' and login using MyBell profile username and password.

Trying to sign into Global app to view Global channels in HD because Bell Satellite doesn't offer Global Edmonton in HD. I click on Bell as my provider, use my email and password which works in MyBell etc, and the app comes back Not Authorized. Contact Fibe TV or Satellite TV Support. The phone number given is busy at all times. What to do?

lol dw. Global Edmonton isn’t available on Fibe at all. You can skip all news clips uploaded online and only watch the unuploaded segments. And Nov. sales are coming soon.

It's quite amazing that I can't watch Global Edmonton or CTV Edmonton via Fibe. Like they don't exist. Only local news is CBC and that is not to my liking. I have been using the Global App to watch for the last year but now they have broken that because it needs to check with the Bell portal to ensure I have a subsciption to Global Content with Bell. That now fails which was the reason for this post. I see another provider in my future...

Trying to log into Global using the Bell portal, Global reports: It appears you do not currently have access to any channels via your TV provider. This may be due to an issue with your account. Please contact your TV provider for information. The package I have with Bell is Satellite Best. ugh...

Yeah that’s because Bell doesn’t have Internet or IPTV available anywhere west to Manitoba and the viewership of that channel is probably quite low. No provider is gonna offer every time-shift channel in the country amid cord-cutting and bad economy.
Have you reported the problem to a live agent yet? The Nov. sales are coming btw. If you don’t mind modifying the lineup frequently, you can consider the minimum a la carte.

Are you able to test by going directly to the Global
website via web-browser to see if it allows you to log in? If not, are you able to share a screenshot of the error you are receiving from the app and the browser version?

My satellite package includes all Global but the Bell portal reports to Global App that I don't have rights.

Going directly from the website in my browser it shows I am logged in to Bell but that I am not authorized to see any programming. I can only watch old news clips. Thanks.
