TV loses sound. Pixelize and random return to guide page. Will running CAT cable directly to the TV help?

I have been seeing "blocking" / pixelation on tsn1 (ch 1400.... transponder 06) on a sat box 9242 while not on a 9241. This happens even when tsn1 and tsn3 are showing the same feeds as in the US open for example. TSN3 is fine (of course, a different transponder). I haven't noticed an issue with any other channels... but then again, who "surfs" the entire bell sat channel lineup. The funny part about this is that during the previous bell sat issue with "stuttering channels" that took bell about 3 months to rectify, on my system, the 9241 had the problem while the 9242 didn't. My guess, at this point, is the "fix" that bell used for the "stutter" and also the change to some SD channel formats / decoding might not be totally "debugged"... maybe ,,, 🙂

I contacted Bell about a somewhat related problem (unable to sync subscribed channels).... related because I was trying to check whether my other receivers had an issue with 1400... I found one of my other receivers had lost some of its subscribed channels include ch 1400. 😞 They were able to do what the on-line sync couldn't (unexpected error). I mentioned that tsn1 (ch 1400) was pixelating on another receiver. The agent indicated that there was no reports of issues like that. Then, while my troubled (unsync'ed) receiver was getting reprogrammed, I eventually brought up the ch1400. Guess what, it wasn't pixelating but was doing the "stuttering" / almost like "reduced resolution" that was reported on various internet groups back in the spring and for which bell had released a firmware update but it was supposedly only for 9242? Anyway, this leads me to believe there might be some issues with the SD "SD transition" along with Satellite channel "migration". In this case, its with an old 6141. Anyway, the agent marked a report. We will see what becomes of the issue.

The TSN1 (ch 1400) seems to have issue around areas of the picture that have large degrees of contrast
"transition" / movement.... ie. white to black / dark or movement, either panning or physical element / person in the picture. Its almost like it has an issue with "edge / aliasing" which I think is dealing with the decoding of the compressed data stream.
