Hello,
I am using Bell Satellite and a 9400 receiver. About a week or two, after the technician repaired the rusted out connection on the satellite our PVR recordings started freezing (sometimes a second, sometimes 10 or more seconds). Watching regular TV this does not happen.
Any suggestions to remedy on future recordings would be appreciated.
Thank you,

Good D
If all of your connections are good & you are still experiencing the same problem before & after the technician visit, your 9400 receiver pvr disk drive could be failing or there is a fault in the dish or LNB. You did not mentiona any line of sight issues outside that could be blocking the dish signal? E.g. Trees, etc.
If everything appears to be copacetic from your perspective, I suggest that you contact Bell Satellite TV and discussed this with their tech support? Call: 1 888 759-3474
Take care.

I suspect that if your PVR is not recording properly you may need to replace your PVR. The symptoms you describe suggest the internal hard drive may be reaching the end of it's life. The current PVR is the 9500. You can call 1-866-310-2355 and have a conversation with Bell about your options.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
The recordings that are freezing; were they recorded prior to the technician repair & are now being viewed or are they shows recorded since the repair?
Are you experiencing freezing issues or video & audio issues when you are watching live TV?
You could have a 9400 receiver problem or a wiring, loose connection or dish issue. Have you checked your receiver & satellite dish connections? Any line of sight issues that could be blocking the dish signal? E.g. Trees, etc.
Have you contacted Bell Satellite TV and discussed this issue with their tech support? Call: 1 888 759-3474
Take care.

Hello,
It only started after the technician visit but it seems to be all of the recordings before and after.
Live TV does not seem to be affected.
All connections are good inside, I assume the technician made a good connection at the dish which is unobstructed.
Thanks,
Dave Mol

Hello,
We have Bell satellite with one PVR. The remote is very delayed with the live stream, despite fresh batteries. And the play back of recordings from the PVR is now very choppy. The PVR is about 8 years old. Is it time for a new one? Will there be charges??
Thank you for your help!
