Unable to cast Fibe TV app

I can't chromecast Fibe tv with my Samsung S8 phone anymore. It has worked before no problems.  I have Rogers 5g internet and a Bell customer.

I think you need Bell home Internet to cast the fibe tv app to your tv and both your phone and chromecast have to be connected to the same WiFi.

What happens if you cannot get Bell internet in your area, is there a way to cast from phone to TV?

To cast from your phone to your TV, they would need to be on the same wi-fi network.

If you're referring specifically to the Bell Fibe TV app, then you would specifically need a Bell home internet connection. Check out our thread "Cast Fibe TVOpens in a new tab or window" for more info.

We have had fibe tv for 3.5 years.

Recently, when we try to cast onto a TV the app connects to the TV but does not actually cast. So the screen shows bell but it never gets to ready to cast or to the show we want to watch.

Any ideas?

I'm just wondering if anybody else is having problems with the Bell five TV app I'm just for some reason it's not allowing me to cast to my TV both are on the same internet connection and it's a brand new television that's why I bought the television was so I could watch the the app through it but I can't seem to make it past anybody have any ideas

What are the details? Error code, message or no response? Have you tried anything?

That's the thing  it isn't recognizing any devises it says no destination found

Do I need something on my TV like Chromecast or something or should I just be able to cast it from my phone to my TV it's like a brand new TV just out of the box

Hi when I try to cast fibe tv from my smartphone onto my smart tv, I get an error saying "an error occurred. (1009f/EB74) for more information please visit:"

There's no website shown in the error message though.

What does this error message mean? How do I fix this issue?
