What happened to the fibe app on web browser?

Looks like the interface changed for the worse. The guide does not take me directly to what is currently playing and I now have to click the play button. Who comes up with this? More clicks instead of less clicks? Ok, ya everyone is loving that.

Anyone know how to get the old interface back?

Since the recent update to the Fibe app on my PC the Guide page is very slow to load (about 20 sec to populate all the fields). Same thing when I scroll up or down. Before the update there was no noticeable delay. I have Fibe 50 service which was running at 39 Mbps on my last speedtest. Viewing a program on my PC (or on a TV) works fine. I reboot my PVR daily.

Suggest people escalate to Bell through this website https://support.bell.ca/how-to-resolve-a-concern

You can also write to CRTC through the info on that page. The On Now menu doesn't even show all channels including tax payer supported channels CBC, TVO and CPAC which likely have regulatory requirements to be accessible to everyone.

afaik the 2.1G/h cap applies no matter what resolution the monitor has.

Correct, just saying I spend my time infront of large screens.

Why was the interface (screen) on my computer change. Is was working super well and now it’s not.

You can’t watch and browse. You have to go to the guide to see what on now.

If it’s not broke don’t fix it.

This upgrade is a change for the worst.

Thank you

I can't see what else is currently on when I am watching a channel.  There is no longer access to "on now" at the right hand side of the screen so you can check out what else you might want to watch and switch between channels.  Now have to scroll down to see "trending", "favourites", "recent channels" and "on now" which means you can't continue to see the channel you are watching.  Very poor design.

Are you able to change the list of "on now" channels?  Currently it lists channels I mostly don't watch, and only shows a short list of channels - not a full list.  Did Bell test the new format before it launched because the new design seems worse not better.

Where is the option to see all episodes while watching a show? I don't see it. I used to be at the top right corner. It looks like a bullet list in Word.

I recently bought a new laptop. I downloaded the Bell app and went through there to watch my fibe tv. It was great for 7 days but now after a watch a show in my continuing  enjoying there is no button to delete the show. Also there is no edit button showing either. Can anybody tell me how I can fix this......I am not too computer savy

I am logging in on my browser to my Bell and logging in from there... I have tried a different browser still the same. Bell is basically telling me that I need to clear my browsing after each show I watch which makes no sense to me since I usually have a lot of shows in my continue watching.....there was no problem before this.....no delete button. no edit button or funnel.....I would delete my services and start over but they are at bundled prices and I already pay $210,00 a month not willing to fork out anymore

Good Morning.

The features you are trying to use with your web browser are no longer available. The Fibe TV web interface was recently updated & has changed.

The Filter function was modified & some of the features you are looking for are no longer available to select when using a web browser. You can still access these same features when using the Fibe TV app.

Thank you for contacting the Bell Community Forum.

Take care.

? I just checked on my Android Chrome, the filters are available on the desktop version of website. It even has a "subscribed" option without any so-called popular channels.

Weird. What browsers were you using?

Hello WelshTerrier, yes we know the "upgrade" has ruined the features on the web browser. That's the problem. Why doesn't Bell upgrade Fibe TV to the clearly much better features of the web version rather than downgrading the web version? I am using Chrome on the laptop and have Expressvu at home.

Thank you for your reply and info....would have been nice for Bell to convey that so much appreciated
