Hey @MMM. Thanks for your post, and welcome to the Bell Community 🙂
Do you have Fibe TV or Satellite?
For Fibe TV check out How to lock specific channels on Fibe TV
If you have Satellite TV take a look at How to set up parental controls on my Bell Satellite TV
under 'Set locks by channel or by rating'.
Parental controls for the YouTube app are separate from those you set on Fibe TV. Check out this article for more information and tips: What is YouTube on Fibe TV and how do I use it?

Struggling with limiting late night access to youtube etc. Parental controls fine for access to Fibe TV, but not apps like youtube. Can block internet access OK from devices & computers, but access to youtube persists via the PVR.
Is it possible to impose parental controls on YouTube and other apps that reside on the PVR?

Thanks for combining my question with this thread. I checked the article "What is YouTube on Fibe TV and how do I use it?" and the only content related to my question is about Restricted Mode.
Restricted Mode does not meet my needs. I will rephrase my question: How do I completely block access to YouTube and other apps that appear on my Fibe TV receiver? Is there a way to use the Home Hub 3000 Access Control feature to create a schedule for the Fibe TV receiver?

The best you could do is buying another non-telco TV box and set up a restricted profile.
Bell’s latest 7802 box doesn’t have the feature. “Security & Restrictions” is only available under “apps” & there are only “unknown sources” & “verify apps” showing up. If you insist on a Bell device, you could upgrade to 7802, delete certain apps when your kid is using, then install the apps again. There are also parental controls & purchase authentication under Google Play.

I am trying to block or remove the Youtube app from the myapps screen on FibeTV since parental controls do not work for apps. Bell support tells me the apps are locked and the link they gave me to control access was for the Chanel list, ie useless. Does anyone know of a workaround for this issue? Thx

Can you please specify step by step? I'm trying to do the same, but even on the Google Play app I can't find a way to uninstall it, nor I can find anything to block YouTube

Go to the device settings to disable apps and set up parental control in Google Play. Then keep fingers crossed and hope the kid doesn’t look at device settings lol.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not sure what you're referring to.
There is no such thing as "disable apps" under settings... Nor parental controls on Google Apps that would block YouTube. I put 3, the lowest, yet YouTube is fully accessible and not uninstallable.

Hi there @Sensei
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Are you able to share what receiver model you have that you are trying this on?
Looking forward to hearing back.
