Has anyone tried to or uses a Fibe receiver outside your home, remotely? If so how do you make it work? I have the bell Fibe emblem on the tv screen but cannot bring up the guide.

Good Day.
Can you please explain? The Bell Fibe TV receiver will only work on the Bell Fibe TV account that it has been activated on.
You can not connect & use a Fibe TV receiver remotely.
If you purchased this receiver privately, you may need to provide proof of purchase before Bell Fibe TV would consider activating & connecting this receiver to your Fibe TV account.
If you require further assistance, you should contact Bell Fibe TV Customer Service at: 1 866 310-BELL (2355) or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device.
Take care.

Thank you and you’re right. Since I posted the question we found out from bell that for remote access to our Fibe tv we have to use the Fibe tv app. That is now the plan. Thank you for your reply.

Thank you. The receiver is from my home fibetv account. We thought we would try it at the cottage. We have since found out from Bell that it will not work. We have to use the Fibe tv app which is now the plan. We’re not very tech savvy. Thank you for your reply.
