Bell is correct. Bell's service is available only in Canada, for licensing and technical reasons.

If you're accessing Bell Fibe TV outside of Canada, you will see an error saying “Bell Fibe TV is not available in your area.” Due to TV rights agreements, Bell Fibe TV is currently only available for those with a Canada IP address.
If you do a search on the web, you will find any number of VPN suppliers that suggest that you can watch Fibe TV live with their VPN in other countries. E.g. Mexico, India, etc. Do not hold your breath! You would be better off spending your money on swamp land.
Take care.

That’s beyond the scope of the forum, unfortunately.

More than that, I found from personal experience that if you have a non-Canadian IP address using a VPN, Bell won't allow you to access your e-mail and other services. A VPN has uses, but has to be properly configured. And even then it has limitations.

Hello,
I am beginner with some experience. I was able to log in to my Bell account on my I pad and record any program I wanted with a VPN service. I recorded my programs even the Leaf games in November in Sweeden and watched. I could not watch live. Hope this helps! Bill

Hey there @Nurse1960,
Thanks for reaching out to the Bell Community.
Check out our website Fibe TV app
and click the View all channels link to see which live and on demand channels you can access with the Fibe TV app at home and on the go.
If you are travelling outside of Canada we recommend using Download and Go. We did post a link in the thread above as well where you can find more information on using the Download and Go feature.
Let the Community know if you have any other questions.

Hi there @JcC1
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Error 1011 is Content is not available outside of Canada. Some common things that could cause this are:
- Using the service outside of Canada
- Using a VPN on your device
- Using a satellite based internet service
If you are attempting to use the service in Canada and receiving this error message, are you able to share some further details so the Community can better assist?
Which television service do you subscribe to?
Where are you seeing this error message (Fibe TV app or on receiver & which model)?
Are you within your home when getting the error message?
What internet service do you subscribe to?
Looking forward to hearing back.

I tried to watch the Maple Leaf game tonight live but could not, even by paying for VPN. I pay them $ 200 per month and they will block me. They will not give you a credit for time away on vacation. You pay extra for a VPN and wifi service at the resort. They could! Are they just too greedy? That is not what I call service. Having to pay twice for the same thing is ridiculous. Enough venting.
