Hi there @ginseg,
Welcome to the Bell Community, and thanks for your post.
Does this only happen right at the end of each call, or do you hear a busy tone when you pick up the line to make a call as well?
Are you able to check to see if you have a pending voice message?

Hi,
Yes the busy signal happens at the end of the call when the caller hangs up . I don't have an issue with the phone line to call out and I receive calls with no issues.
My answering machine works fine. I am not subscribe to bell voice messaging.
Thanks

Hi @ginseg,
Thank you for your reply.
Can you please test further by unplugging your answering machine to see if the beeping still occurs at the end of each call?

After upgrading from a Bell landline to Fibe, we are at times experiencing a fast busy signal on our phone. I unplug the phone and leave it unplugged, occasionally checking the line. It returns to normal usually within a day or two. The most recent occurrence has lasted 3 days. I've unplugged the modem (Giga model), waited 5 minutes and plugged it back in. Once it comes back up, I still have a fast busy. I've plugged a phone directly into the back of the modem and get a dial tone. I tried the virtual troubleshooting tool with no luck. All of the phone wires at the connection block look OK.

Good day & Welcome to the bell Community Forum.
A fast busy signal is an audible tone that sounds more frequently than a standard busy signal.
Without being there, it is sometimes next to impossible to come up with a cause & solution.
Potential Fast Busy causes:
- The network is busy.
- Is this recent occurrence or has it been an ongoing problem?
- Do you have more than one phone? Have you tried a different phone or is the problem the same with all telephones? Are these newer model telephones or are they dial, digital or touch tone telephones?
- Does this also occur with local & long distance calling or just long distance calls?
When you plug your phone in to your modem, is the problem the same or has it disappeared? Next time when this occurs, unplug your telephone & plug it in to the back of the modem after waiting for 60 seconds. Make the same call. If there is no problem in making this call then, do it again. If there still is no problem, fast busy, then it leads me to believe the fast busy can be isolated to any one of three potential causes.
- A wiring defect from the modem to one of the jacks.
- One of your telephone jacks has a problem. Dirt, moisture, wiring pin x-crossed, poor connection, etc.
- If you are using more than one telephone, it can be any one of the your telephones that are connected causing this issue. Try unplugging all of them. The plug them back into the jack. It can be something so simple a cord.
If you still require further assistance, I would suggest that you reach out to & call Bell tech support & arrange for a technician to isolate and reconfirm the exact cause of your fast busy signal.
Thank you for contacting the community forum.
Take care.

I booked a Bell Tech to come onsite to troubleshoot. After checking the wiring and jacks the Tech was able to trace it our Bell Satellite TV receiver (it's plugged into a land line jack to display incoming calls on the TV). He unplugged the receiver phone line and the fast busy stopped, and the dial tone returned. He plugged the receiver phone line back in and the fast busy returned. If you have a fast busy problem, try unplugging the receiver to land line connection. It might save you a $75 service call.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community.
The Giga Hub is an excellent modem. I have Fibe TV, Internet & Home phone. I am not experiencing. any Home phone Fast busy signals. I am using a Panasonic corded / cordless answering system.
Have you tried plugging in a different phone to the back of your modem to see if this makes a difference?
Has this Fast Busy condition on you Home phone service been there since the modem was changed? If so, you can try rebooting your modem by doing a full power off, unplugging the power cord, waiting 30 seconds, & plugging it back in. Once all of the lights have stopped flashing, your modem will have reconnected to Bell. Try plugging your phone back in to the modem. If after doing this, you are still experiencing the same issue, you will need to contact Bell Tech support. Tech support may need to send an software update to your modem to reset the phone & update the firmware.
Please call: 1 866 310-BELL (2355) or dial #611 from any Bell mobile device.
Keep us up to date & let us know if you require any further assistance.
Take care.

Finally resorted to calling a Bell tech to the house. After a lot of troubleshooting he was able to trace the problem to our Bell receiver. When we unplugged the landline connection to the receiver (used for TV caller ID Display) the problem was immediately fixed. I've had no problems since unhooking the line.

My spouse asked why our fibre phone line was getting a busy signal instead of a dial tone. Over lunch I thought I would try the Virtual Repair Tool (VRT) on the MyBell Support page, just to see if it worked. If not, I would call Bell.
The result was better than I expected. Once the VRT was finished, I checked the phone line and we had dial tone with no more busy signal. I have no idea what was fixed, but whatever it was and whatever was done, just worked. Kudos for the VRT.

Thank you for your concern. There are two possible remedies. You can reboot the modem and use the Virtual Repair Tool on the MyBell web page. Specific directions for both solutions can be found in the helpful replies that have a green check mark. The fastest way to see them is to go to the top of the opening post and click on the link.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
If you are you still experiencing this problem this afternoon, please contact Bell Customer Service Tech Support at: 1 866 310-BELL (2355) or dial #611 from any Bell mobile device.
If you have Bell Home phone service, after a modem change or factory reset, your home phone line requires a reset in order for it to work properly. A telltale indicator for this issue is no ring on incoming calls & the fast busy tone condition when you pick up the telephone receiver.
Let us know if we can be of further help.
Take care
