Bell Webmail is loading slowly

My email is really slow to load.  I have checked the speed of the internet etc..but that is not the problem. Is there an update for sympatico email?

Our best recommendation to start with is to clear your cookies and caches, then close down the browser + reboot your equipment before testing again.

Have you also tried using Bell Webmail on a different device to see if the same thing happens?

Are you able to share how you are accessing your Bell email (browser, third party client / device)?
Have you tested on a different device and or browser?

Mine is awful too and has been for weeks and weeks. Whether I try to access from home or at work (Bolton ON high speed) it sits and thinks for 15, 20, maybe 30 seconds or more before finally opening the log-in page - if it ever actually does. It is really annoying. Using Edge or Chrome browser makes no difference.

While I don't have the display problem I do have the problem of email loading. The wait wheel will be turning for ever and I can't scroll down without the inbox always jumping back to the top. Very frustrating waiting for 10-15 minutes to be able to scroll down to older emails or even newer ones. Its not just my email acting up my wife's as well on a different computer. Also same on my android.

Which browsers are you using? Are you having this issue while connected to your home network and the cellular network? 

A great first step as we mentioned above is to simply clear your cookies and caches, then close your web browser & reboot all equipment (the device and your modem).

Can you try that out, and let the Community know if you're still having trouble?

The spinning wheel never stops when I open my email. When trying to deleet an email, many times the same email appears multilple times at the bottom of the inbox list and wont delete. If the deletion takes place then a gray band remains where the email subject was and sometimes there are 2 geay bands, as though the email

Which device/web browser are you using to access Bell email, and does this happen on a different device/browser as well?  What type of connection are you using (Wi-Fi/Ethernet/mobile network)?

As a first step we do recommend clearing cookies/caches and also rebooting your devices.

Let the Community know if you are still having any trouble after that.

Hi

Using desktop, everything alsways worked fine up to a couple of months ago. Windows 7 ie 11

email works fine on my cell phone.

The last week or so I have found that my e-mail is slow to respond to commands.  I have had it freeze and not open the first message on my page, or not respond to "move to" commands or moving a message to Trash.  My wife has been encountering a similar issue on her device.  Anyone else encountering troubles?

Have you tried clearing your browser cookies / cache?
Which devices are you using (make and model)?
Are you experiencing any issues related to your internet?

I am using webmail through my Edge browser, I have cleared cookies that are on my HP Compaq.  I have had no other difficulties with the internet.  I have only had slow response either trying to trash or move mail.  It does appear to occur when dealing with the first message of a new session in my mailbox.

My wife and I both use Bell e-mail online, with up-to-date Google Chrome on Windows 11. When she logs on the inbox is almost impossible to use for a long time because of the rotating refresh symbol. I do not get the same problem and we both use the same Bell Home 3000 network. I have tried getting online help but to no avail.

I would appreciate any knowledge anyone may have on how to help fix this issue.
