I have an email account (sympatico.ca) under previous Bell account. The ex has taken over that Bell account. I have a new Bell account. How can I get the sympatico.ca account from my old Bell account put under my new Bell account?

Unfortunately your old account can not be reactivated. Once an account is closed & there were email addresses associated with it, the email account cannot be activated. Any folders or emails left over in the closed account are deleted & can not be recovered.

Bell no longer offers free email accounts & addresses.  If you require an email address, you will need to obtain one from an outside supplier such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Mail, etc.

Hello,

I need to transfer an old sympatico.ca email address to a new account under tge same name. The old account had tobe cancelled and new one was activated at a different address. This email address is of utmost importance for me to retain. How can I proceed in this matter?

Bell no longer provides email addresses. If you have one, you are able to continue to use it as long as it is on an active account. If you delete it or wish to change it to another email address, this can not be done. You can no longer add a new Bell email address.

I do not know of any method of transferring an email address from one account to another. If the account is yours and it is active, it can be moved to a different physical residence just as long as it is still attached to the Internet or mobility account..

The only way to transfer messages from one Bell web email address to another is to forward them to the new email address.

As I mentioned in earlier in my reply, Bell no longer provides email addresses. If you need a new email address you would to obtain to one from an outside supplier such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Mail, etc.

I wish I could offer you another alternative & solution to your problem, but I can not. If there is one, I am quite sure that another Bell Community Forum member will share it with us.

Thank you for your response. The internet was moved to a different address with a new account but I still have the old account active as it has Mobility lines attached to it. I read on the forum where other contributors have mentioned that as long as one has a land line or mobility attached with same account, we could keep the email address active.

I would appreciate information on who to contact to check if it is possible to move my existing bell simpatico email addresses to my sons bell internet account. Please advise how I can best achieve this.

Regards,

Steve

Bell use offer to transfer emails from one account to another account if both parties agreed to the transfer. This is no longer available since Bell decided to stop providing email addresses.

Thank you for your question. I believe your e-mail is attached to your account and your mother's e-mail is attached to her account. I don't believe e-mail addresses can be transferred, especially since Bell no longer offers e-mail accounts.

Ok, In a nutshell, my x had the bell service in her name even though i pay for it and im the only one who used it.. She moved out several months ago. April 30 she cancelled all the bell services without telling me.. I ordered new services immediately and installed the new stuff May1.. There is no email set up on my new account. I need to recover my old bell email account. Is this possible?

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum

If your Bell services were cancelled, then your Bell webmail email account would have been closed & can not be reopened & activated.

Bell no longer provides email addresses. If you need a new email address you would need to obtain one from an outside supplier such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Mail, etc.

If you have an existing Bell email address, you are able to continue to use it as long as it is maintained on an active account. You will need to maintain a Bell Internet account or a Bell Mobility data device, such as a Turbo Hub, Turbo Stick or MiFi on a continuous basis.

If you delete it or wish to change it to another email address or move it to another account, this can not be done. You can no longer add a new Bell email address.

Thank you for posting your question

Take care.

Hi I have a similar issue.  There is one id that my sister set up while she was with us.  She is a bell customer now and we have to leave bell internet soon.  Can you tell me how to apply for a transfer?

Hello @BellPatricia - I have the same email account transfer issues as I've moved a couple of times over the years but have stayed with Bell Internet.  I need to recover some old email accounts that are associated with prior account addresses. Can you please help?

Thanks
