My e-mail keeps defaulting to "block all images". I can't get it to stay with "show all images".

Hi @Brenda1,

Welcome to the Bell Community, and thank you for reaching out.

Can you clarify if you are selecting 'Allow all images' or 'Allow from my contacts only'?

Which device/browser are you using, and can you test to see if this happens on a different device/browser?

When changing the setting please also be sure you select Save (bottom right side).

Let the Community know if this continues to happen.

My webmail is randomly blocking images in my e-mails.  I have reset the option several times and still get the blocked image and "show image" option adjacent to the body of the message.  If I check the settings the are either "allow all images"  or I tried "allow all except SPAM".  This has been going on for about a week.  Any solutions for the issue?

Same thing happening to me.  Tried different browser, cleared my browsing etc and it is still the same.

Where are you Bell support?????

Hi there @MartyT & @JR2,

Welcome to the Bell Community, and thank you for reaching out.

Can you also please share which device/browser you are using, and let us know if this is affecting more than one device/browser?

- Patricia

I have been using Edge when browsing and tried several "Allow all images" and "Allow all except SPAM".  If I check the settings the option may still be highlighted, or like this morning it had switched to "Block all".  It is really quite random and very annoying.

I am on a laptop that I use all the time.  I usually use Google to access my e mails but I also tried Edge and the same thing is happening.  As Marty said it happens randomly but it is mostly everyday

Good day @MartyT & @JR2

We'd like an opportunity to take a closer look, and have sent you both a private message,

Since yesterday, any email I have (new or old), suddenly doesn't show anything other than the typing in them.  Where a picture or logo should be, it is showing an envelope.  Emails on my ipad/iphone are fine, just my desktop is this way.  I haven't changed any settings.  Any ideas??

Good afternoon @CherryG46,

Welcome to the Bell Community.

Can you share which browser type you're using to access your Bell email on your Desktop? Are you using a third party email client on your iPad/iPhone or a web browser as well?

Please also check your email settings to verify if 'Allow all images' is selected.

Keep the Community posted,

- Patricia

My e mail quit doing it for awhile, but now it has started again.  It seems to be random happening only some of the time.  Is the Bell e mail team doing anything about this?  This is obviously not an individual problem

Further to yesterday's message sometimes when I try to go into settings and change it back to allow all messages it will not let me.  I can only click the show image in the message itself to make it work.

Good day @JR2,

We want to continue to work on this with you, and we invite you to get back to us in our current conversation via private message.

I reported the same problem a while ago and am still having the problem. Emails do not show images. I go to Settings and tick off Show all images and then save it but it reverts back to block images. I am using a PC running Windows 11 and Goggle as my browser. This problem only started a few weeks ago.

Bell always tries to blame the user for the problems instead of trying to resolve the issue. I try not to call Bell Support as they usually are useless.
