How can I create my Bell email address?

Everything leads me to a wizard but with no options to create an email address. Where is the create button?

Bell stopped offering new free email addresses as part of their Internet service, in 2023. You cannot add an email account. If you require another free email account then you will need to obtain one from another email account supplier such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL, Mail, etc.

If you have an existing Bell email address, you are able to continue to use it as long as it is maintained on an active account. You will need to maintain a Bell Internet account or a Bell Mobility account device with data, e.g. Turbo Hub, Turbo Stick or MiFi on a continuous basis.

If cancelling your Bell Internet service: your Bell email address can no longer be used / accessed, and all emails will be lost. In order to transfer an existing Bell email address to a different account, you would need to get in touch with Bell Customer Service. "You need to do this prior to disconnecting your Internet service." This cannot be completed after the service is disconnected.

If you delete it or wish to change it to another email address or move it to another account, this cannot be done.

To access your Bell email addresses, login to your MyBell account. Select> My profile > MyBell. Select >Services profiles > Internet > Manage your Email Addresses > Edit. There was an add button located at the bottom of the page. It is no longer available.

You can only change passwords or delete an Email address.

Thank you for your question. Bell no longer offers e-mail accounts. Please use a third party provider for your e-mail. You will find more information in the helpful replies that have a green checkmark in this thread.

Will Bell continue to support Sympatico email addresses for the foreseeable future or should I start using an alternative very soon?

Bell stopped offering new free email addresses as part of their Internet service in 2023. You can no longer add a Bell email account.

Bell does not normally share or post decisions such as this on the Bell Community Forum. Bell has not indicated that it will stop providing email account services to its existing Bell email account holders.

It is always a good idea to have a backup email address. 

In order to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) Bell webmail security access, you need to configure at least one of the following options:

• Secondary email address - add another email address (Bell email addresses are not permitted)
• Mobile number - set up a mobile number (must be a Canadian mobile number)
