1) If you’re streaming things like Prime Video check the stream rate and lower it to better rather than best. The diff would be many GB a month.
2) change to one of Bell’s unlimited plans.
3) check what’s eating your usage. Might be an unwanted guest.

I use my 600 gb of fast download speed in 2 weeks! I get throttled back after that and I already pay for the best internet I can get from bell. It works great until I get throttled. Is there any way I can get real unlimited from Bell? I can't get fibre here. Wifi internet is the fastest that they can give me. I am willing to pay for better! Why can't they understand that unlimited is unlimited. If I rent a car with unlimited mileage it isn't unlimited up to 600, it's unlimited! Unlimited to a certain amount isn't correct wording. Write it as it is! Misrepresenting to consumers, because Bell doesn't now what unlimited means. Up to an amount isn't unlimited. It's the definition of limited. Limited to 600gb then punished for using that amount! Can they just keep the same speed or do they actually have a limited amount of internet they can provide me?

Thank you for your question. You will find any limits to your internet listed on the MyBell account page and your service agreement. Bell does use Internet Traffic Management Practices (ITMP) to manage their network. This can affect activities like file sharing, gaming and video streaming. This practice is also outlined in your Terms of Service (p. 15). It says,
How does Bell help to ensure fair network access, efficient operation and the responsible use of Bell Services? Bell works hard to ensure fair network access to all users and the continuous, efficient operation of the Bell Services. Bell may manage network resources using methods which include: (a) prioritization or deprioritization of network access; and (b) Internet traffic management practices such as allocation of bandwidth (which may impact speeds), filtering for spam and malicious or illicit content, anti-virus mechanisms or other measures to protect the integrity of the network (such as the blocking of your traffic or other traffic in the event of denial of service attacks), all in a manner consistent with applicable law. For a description of our Internet traffic management practices, please visit bell.ca/ITMP.

Can I get better? I know what my contract says,. But it's not good enough for me. Can I pay more please? Bell Wifi is unclear as to what "unlimited" actually means. If I rent a car with unlimited KMS it's not unlimited to 600kms then limited. Unlimited by bell is limited to 600. It's definition of limited. Limited to 600. Nothing unlimited about your service.

Thank you for the clarification. I have answered your question to the best of my ability and knowledge. Your speed has been reduced by ITMP. No, you can't "buy better", at least in Bell's residential internet.

The data is unlimited, the speed of the data is adjusted once you reach a certain data amount and is never unlimited since speed is always limited.
It's the same principle as cellphone data.
