Up until recently I was getting between 300-600 mbps on my POD and Hub over wifi. (I don't have wired connections) However, I am at best getting around 150-200 mbps on my POD now (no change with the Hub, and there was no change to my set up). I rebooted everything to see if it would make a difference, but it remains the same. This has been going on for about a week, and measured at different times throughout the day.
When I run the Bell wifi checkup, it is showing a download speed of 1.8 gbps on the hub, and 1.5 gbps on the POD - with a strong signal to all my devices. That said, I see no difference in the performance of any of my devices. I also note that the Bell wifi app is showing my devices are getting 2-3x the speed that I see when I run Speedtest or Fast.
I am curious as to why the POD speed connectivitiy has dropped in half, and why Bell keeps sending me promotions to upgrade my speed, when I can't even come close to getting the speed I pay for now.

The firmware modem upgrade will take time to roll out. This should address the POD speed issues.

Yes, many thanks to a Bell "customer" for taking the time to explain what is happening. Like others on this forum however, Bell's actions are too late as I have since cancelled 3 of my 4 services.

FWIW: I power cycled the Gigahub on August 20/25. That installed firmware version 2.14 and restored speeds through the pods. However, multiple devices were unable to connect to the guest network despite the guest network being visible. Power cycling the Gigahub again on August 22/25 resolved that issue and everything seems to be back to normal. I am in the GTA.

I don't know what happened since this update, but my connection quality and reliability has been absolutely garbage. I've rebooted my modem countless times, I've hard rebooted my modem as well, nothing seems to really help.
My connection can be great and fast, and then minutes later it feels like I'm on 56k again and nothing loads for ages, or until I reboot the modem again.

Run the Bell Virtual Repair tool and have it check everything is normal and functional. The tool can identify and potential resolve any issues discovered. Failing that resolves your issue, you will need to call into Bell Internet support and have them do a more through look at the issue. It's possible the modem may have an issue.
I had one modem that experienced the same issue or similar issue and had it replaced, problem solved.

Thank you for your question. As Bell staff has said in other threads, the 2.14 firmware will be rolling out to Fibe customers using the Giga Hub over the next several weeks. Some customers have done a hard reboot or restart of the modem and found the new firmware was downloaded. If you wish, you can perform a modem reboot or restart by following these instructions.

I was away most of the summer. I can now confirm that after rebooting my system here are the levels that are currently installed on my modem through web interface, 192.168.2.1 - advanced tools and settings - modem - about - Firmware version: 2.14.
Through the Bell WIFI App - select Giga Hub - three dots upper right - view hardware info - Firmware 3.2.4.0-110-ge11970. (Hardware - HH4000-E). I have all 6E pods, Pod firmware level displayed through the WIFI APP - 4.2.0-155-g1af418-pro
This has restored the throughput i was seeing before this whole thing started around 9 months ago. Over and out.

Glad it's working better for you. I now have a 6 and 6E pod and the Giga Hub 2.0 (2.11 firmware is current for that device). The Gen 1 pods have been returned to Bell. Throughput is much more sensitive to distance, although it is certainly acceptable.

Over the last couple of days the Pod speed has significanlty dropped off again. I have restarted the pod and modem, and even moved the pod around the house but same result. Anyone else having speed drop offs with pods?

Nothing has changed on my end, still getting 500-800mps through the pods depending on location of the POD.

One thing I found, I use my Google Pixel 9 Pro to do the speed tests and use the Bell Wi-Fi app to determine which 6E POD I am connected too. But one thing I noticed, my pixel tends to hold onto a pod it is connected too even when I change rooms, likely a flaw with the Pixel 9 Pro. I don't recall the same issue when I had the Pixel 7 Pro previously. In those cases when it hangs onto a pod and should have switched to a better pod signal, speeds will drop. With the Pixel 9 Pro, I have to disconnect and reconnect sometimes to ensure it has connected to the best pod.
Not sure about your scenario. but something I noticed with how poorly the Pixel 9 Pro works with pods.

I noticed that in addition to slow speeds, the Pod goes from poor to fair to poor connection. Even if I move the pod within 3 ft of the hub, it still won't go beyond a fair connection. Not sure whats happening.
