My phone can not use the wifi
I checked my bell account but signal is excellent

If I turn on the Wi-Fi, it's loading and it's not connecting

How can I use it? What is the problem?

Hey there @minjichoi0926

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.

Like @AlexS suggested a quick restart (turn your phone fully off and back on again) will fix many issues. Another trick is to make your phone forget the Wi-Fi connection and try reconnecting as a fresh session.

It will also be helpful to the Community if you could confirm if you're experiencing this issue with any other of your Wi-Fi capable devices at home.

One thing that has worked for me in that situation is, I went in my Wi-Fi settings (Blue information circle next to your connection name) and turned the Wi-Fi 6E Mode to Off and my connection returned to normal.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I upgraded to the gigahub and the issue is resolved. Bell also updated all my pods to the newest version. Great service.

Just turn off 'Wifi 6E mode' from Automatic in Wifi settings. It will work fine.

Just activated my iPhone 15 pro all works well except when connected to home Wi-Fi. Apps not connecting or icon at top right of screen switches to 5G+ and apps work fine is that supposed to happen? Otherwise apps work fine when on internet??

Delete your Wi-Fi connection. Then turn if off. Try rebooting your iPhone completely by powering it off. Verify your iOS is up to date. After rebooting, reconnect to your Wi-Fi connection. You should see your Wi-Fi connection.

Hopefully this will solve your problem. Take care...

Thank you for answering.

Did as you described, Wi-Fi worked for the fist app I opened but not the next! When I tried to again open the first app it switched to 5G+??

The only thing in your description I might have misunderstood was "Turn it off" do you mean my phone or wi-fi modem?

The above did not fix the problem.

I have found out that it is a Bell issue with their Home Hub 3000 that can't keep up with the 5G+ network and may have to upgrade!?

Can anyone confirm/deny or advise?

I do not believe that this has anything to do with your issue.

Let us try doing the following:

  1. Power off your modem, by unplugging it & plugging the power cord back in after 30 seconds.
  2. Wait until all of the flashing lights have stopped & everything is working.
  3. Please verify your Wi-Fi log in information: Network name & password (It is case sensitive.)
  4. Verify your iOS is up to date!
  5. Delete your Wi-Fi device network connection.
  6. Power off your iPhone 15.This is a complete shutdown! I mean not just turning it off! I mean completely reboot it. (Press and quickly release the volume up button. Press and quickly release the volume down button. Press and hold the side button. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.)
  7. After rebooting, reconnect to your Wi-Fi connection. Select your Wi-Fi network  & log in with your password!. You should now see your Wi-Fi connection.

If you do not see your network connection, then I can only suggest that you once again verify your Wi-Fi login information & failing this, you should contact Bell tech support.

Hi, thanks for the new info! I have not tried it yet, will let you know how it goes when I do.

I have hub 3000 at home. All my iphones are working fine with wifi. Two weeks ago I bought an iphone 15 pro but it freezes on wifi or it returns me to data. Especially on the 5Ghz frequency. After a phone replacement and two visits to Apple, I was informed there is an issue between hub 3000 and ios software update 17.1 onwards which is more evident on iphone 15 because it has a new type of antena. Anyone else having the same problem?

I have the same issue.. will bell change our modem? Did you get any answers on what to do?

I just got my Iphone 15 but the wifi connexion dosen’t work. Worked fine on my iphone 11 and still works fine on my girlfriends iphone X.

Tried everything I found online…

Will bell fix this issue? Or change our modem?

There is a problem with hub 3000 and iOS 17 which becomes bigger with iPhone 15 due to a new antenna type. I will try the hub 4000 to see but Bell needs to solve the problem on their modems

Nothing from Bell. I will upgrade to hub 4000 hoping it solves the problem
