Hi there, @Darsh. Welcome to the Community.

While we are sorry to hear about your speed issues, we'll need to ask for you to provide more information for the Community to be better able to assist.

Do keep in mind that many factors can limit signal strength; topography, environmental conditions, line of sight to towers, types of buildings in your area, etc.

  • Have you spoken to Tech Support and opened a ticket?
  • How recently did you start having speed issues? Is it happening during a particular time of day? Are you indoors, outdoors, or both?
  • What personal troubleshooting steps have you completed?
  • Have you tried changing the network settings in your phone? Sometimes preventing your phone from searching for 5G can free up resources to focus on LTE instead.

Additionally from our own research, Nisku is near Edmonton International Airport, correct? It is worth keeping in mind that depending on how close you are to the airport, signal quality may be lower to prevent interference with local equipment.

For more troubleshooting tips, we recommend checking out our How-to article on Troubleshooting data connectivityOpens in a new tab or window

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Sorry, I did not make my self clear. I was referring to the network coverage in Niksu, postal code T9E***. Phone reception and date both are too poor, can hardly use my phone in this area.

Good morning, @Darsh.

While we understand you're having difficulties, we need further details to be able to begin to assist. Please review the questions I had asked previously, and provide more details at your earliest convenience.

It may also be worth seeing if anyone else in your area with Bell is having similar issues.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

since day 1 my cellular service has been sub par. Often the phone will go into SOS mode within Edmonton city limits, also data speeds are 1.83d/0.94u when running speed tests.

My job required mobile data and bulletproof cell service. I have been speaking with your techs for several months to resolve. I have had the phone tested by the manufacturer and they cannot find fault. Sim has been swapped out and placed in other phones without change. I have cooperated fully.

I need to have this service repaired from mid 1990`s standards to that of 2024.

Today I enquired about cancelling and was told that even when returning the phone I would have a non negotiable bill of $894 to eat.

The internet connection is very poor. I recently got new phone and changed to bell from rogers. Network. Ever since i got the bell network i have never had more than 2 bar of network on my phone and it take ages to load facebook reels let alone other things. I live well within city bounds in south common edmonton. I don’t live in remote area. I am not happy with the network coverage at all. If this continues i will definitely change to different network provider no matter the cost.

For how much I pay for this phone and service, why is there so many dead zones within the city of Edmonton?

If you cannot provide adequate service why should I pay so much to use it?
