Hello, All.
URGENT HELP NEEDED! I accidentally deleted my Esim on my Samsung phone. How do I recover it back while I'm overseas? I tried to follow the steps online under recover deleted esim but it is asking to send OTP to the number I am trying to recover.
I tried calling your hotlines but it doesn't lead me to a speaking/human customer service agent. It only allows me to book a call back to the same number I am trying to recover.
I only have a foreign (Singapore) number right now that is active but it doesn't allow me to use that to connect with your team in order for me to recover my deleted esim.
Please help.
Thank you,
JR21

If your eSIM card has been deleted, you must contact Bell Mobility and have them send you a new QR code that you can scan in order to activate your eSIM again.
Have you tried to use Bell Support Chat? It appears you have access to the Internet & your MyBell account.
Do you have access to a computer? Login to MyBell > Select your account. All of your device information will be stored there.
You will still need to contact Bell Mobility. Bell Support Chat is open: 07:00am - 12:00am (ET)
International number +1 514 420-7748 Free from any Bell mobile device

I spoke to their technical team earlier unfortunately they said that an esim will not work overseas since i purchased them when I was out of Canada.
And that Esims are not goingntonwork overseas?
Is this true?
The only solution is to get a physical sim and have it sent to my overseas location. Which doesnt make sense to be honest. I won't be in back Canada for another 3 months.

I could you use some more details.... like maybe everything you can tell me about your problem so that I or someone else on the Bell Community Forum can try to help you.
So, let us start all over again.
What type of Bell mobility plan are you on? When & where did you purchase your eSim? How & why did you delete it? Was it activated by Bell in Canada?
Have you read your mobility agreement?
If you purchased the eSim from outside of Canada it needs to be activated by Bell Mobility in Canada. I am not aware of any method of doing this while you are in Singapore.
Did you contact Bell Support Chat as I suggested to you earlier? If so, what did the support representative advise you to do?

Okay, so I purchased a Prepaid esim plan while in Singapore. Thinking ahead, so when I land in Canada I would have a local number to use at the same time my constituents from Canada can call me anytime.
I deleted it because it wasnt working propely as expected, signal was very faint and when i tried to do a test call using my Singapore number, it went straight to voicemail. I tried sending a text message i also didnt receive it. So, thinking I could resolve it by resetting the connection or by deleting and reinstating it to recover it back easily. Boy, I was wrong!
Yes i called and did what you suggested. I did speak with 2 customer support agents, one of them mentioned that I can purchase another sim and have the 4 digit pin sent through there. But i got skeptic, I suddenly thought of perhaps the reason why the line wasnt working or why calls wasnt coming through was because roaming services is not activated. On the otherhand, the other agent said that having an esim purchased outside Canada won't work at all. Rather esims doesnt work when you overseas.

Well, what can I say. All of us learned from this experience. Now you know.
Another SIM would not of solved your problem when you are on a Prepaid Plan. You would of needed to change Plans & then added Roam Better.
Roaming is not available on Prepaid plans.
If you need anything else, do not hesitate to reach out to the Bell Community Forum.
Take care.....

When i activated my esim, the site gave me a qr code to add esim to my phone. I tried to add it but my phone gave me an error. I reloaded the page with qr code, but the qr code deleted so i didn't add my esim to my phone, but in the account page it says that my esim is on unknown device. And when i try to transfer the esim to the new device, it says that firstly i need to write the confirmation code which was send to this esim, but my esim is not on my phone so i can't get the confirmation code. How can i add my existing esim to my phone?

I tried converting my sim to an eSIM while abroad which wasn’t successful. This resulted in my network going off and only has SOS. How do I solve it?

Make sure you are in an area where there is cellular coverage.
Turn cellular data off and then back on again. Go to Settings, then tap Cellular or Mobile Data.
Go to Settings > General > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings,
Try do a full power off of your device. Remove your SIM. Power your device back on. Then, do another complete power off of your device once again. Install your SIM. Power your device back on. This should resolve your problem unless of course you have made any further changes.
If not, then you may end up doing a reset of your settings & restoring from a backup if you have corrupted the iOS or OS.
Take care.

My Daughter is traveling to Singapore to study for 5 months. She has an I phone 13. She has purchased an e sim when she got there and they removed her bell physical sim. She'd like to put it back in hoping she can still have access to her old number from time to time while she's there. For example accounts that require 2 step authentication. Does anyone have experience with this and is it possible to use the bell physical sim and an e sim from a provider in Singapore.
Anyone with relative experience in other Countries other than Singapore may be helpful as i realize that is very specific.

Yes you can use Dual SIM by using a physical SIM and an eSIM. iPhone 13 models and later also support two active eSIMs.
Here is a link that will explain iPhone - 2 step authentication.
Use two-factor authentication for your Apple ID on iPhone - Apple Support (CA)
Bell Mobility Coverage Map - Select your destination > Singapore (SGP)
This includes the Pay-per-use & Roam Better with home data rates.
Coverage Map & Travel Options | Bell Mobility | Bell Canada
I have included all of the specific details. Hopefully this will be of assistance to you & your daughter.
Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Cpmmunity Forum.
Take care.

I bought an eSIM for my iPhone last Saturday and I tried to activate it, but the QR code marked error and my iPhone would not allow me to use other activation method than the QR code. After that, I have tried to link mybell profile to the account on my bill or using the eSIM but the system marks ERROR and doesn't offer a solution or explanation about the error.
I am outside Canada and I don't know how to contact customer support to solve this.

Hi I’m just home from a trip - used Airalo eSIM while away. Now back home and my phone isn’t reverting back to Bell as primary. I’ve deleted the Airalo eSIM. Currently at the top of my iPhone it indicates SOS.
ANY IDEAS?
