I received a call and was told that I am eligible for iPhone 15 pro max and I will receive message in email, surprisingly I got email on my email which is registered with bell mobility and this email clearly mentioned my username
I knew this was fraudulent so I didn’t answer by clicking the links in email, I just want to make every body aware that by clicking the link it will open your app
Data from bell mobility is stolen and they should do something about this

Last week I received a call saying I was a preferred customer with Bell. For this offer they were sending me a new free phone of my choice. Top of the line iphone or Samsung.
I thought is was all a hoax till a phone showed up in our mail box.
Now I'm receiving calls to return it at my cost.
Thoughts?

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
Thank you for taking the time to share this with the members of the Bell Community Forum.
I am not aware of any Bell preferred customer program that is offering a free phone.
What makes you think it was a representative from Bell that called you? Because he said so? Because of his call display number?
Did you provide the caller with any personal information?
Next time, please hang up! This was not Bell calling you. How about a scammer, a fraudster, a thief trying to gain access to your personal information.
Do not call them back. There is no reason for you to talk to them at all. Fraudsters call potential victims claiming to be from their service provider. They offer a promotion or deal so lucrative they cannot pass it up. The fraudsters proceed to ask for the victim’s personal information including their Social Insurance Number (SIN) and Driver’s License number, credit card, passwords, etc.
Please have a look at the following web link. I am hoping you will find something new in this document that will be of benefit to you.
Service provider impersonation scam - Bell
I would suggest that you contact Bell Customer Service at: 1 800 667-0123 or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device.
Take care.

Just experienced the same. Except when he needed my email I told him you already have my email… he insisted he needed it. So I said good bye and hung up.

No need for the rudeness! The call was from bell mobility, according to my phone. Bell customers pay a premium rate for an expected premium service… perhaps they should act like it! Fix up the call center. Half the time the English is so bad I have to keep asking them to repeat. He didn’t ask to verify my email, he just said he needed it to send me information for something I DID NOT want! He didn’t ask once either… he insisted.
sounded like a scam, pure and simple.

Good Day.
Thank you for your gracious reply. There was no rudeness intended. I was only offering up my suggestions & personal advice.
I do not work for Bell. I am only one member trying to assist in helping out another member by providing some form of assistance.
May I ask, what makes you think it was a representative from Bell that called you? Because he said so? Because of his call display number? Name display? Etc. etc.
If you believe it was Bell Mobility that called you, so be it. It is what it is & neither one of us can change that now.
I can only offer up the following:

My apologies for trying to assist you in providing some form of help.
Please take care & have a wonderful day!

I switched over to Sasktel because it was much cheaper and being over at Sasktel for a few months hasn't been bad. Until I started getting calls from Bell every few days, and now I'm being charged for a device I never got. Anyone else??

I have been getting phone calls from these 2 numbers.
438-50*-**** & 579-29*-****
They usually call when I am working so I sent them straight to my voicemail but they never left a message. When I called back these 2 numbers, they had the exact same recorded greeting saying they are Bell Mobility. I wonder if they are actually legit.

Sounds like it is fake . If the person on the other end sounds bad connections sounds bad deal. They use fake phone number to look like it is in Canada and I know it not the company casue I have Telus phone and it is a fake . They still call and try diffrent phone numbers . So be careful and I post here to warn people . So warning people when I see these things about being fake .

Hello
I believe I'm a victim of fraud. On Saturday I was offered a new phone 25 Ultra and new promotion lowering my bill.
Like a fool I accepted the offer and was sent the 25 Ultra. Was told by people who originally called me to send phone back because I did not receive a code for the phone rec'd. I was given address Return Facility.
I rec'd an email to print out return form and soon returned phone using Purolator Express from a location they also sent me too here in Winnipeg.
I did take pictures of the return, the emails and phone numbers from which they called from.
I followed the delivery of the 25 Ultra all the way back to Oakville Ontario. I have the delivery times and kept what I thought would assist me thinking this was a possible scam/fraud.
I was then told another 25 Ultra would be delivered by this past Monday Oct. 27th by noon. Nothing arrived.
So I called back and was continually told it was on the way, with no idea of whom it was delivered by. I finally decided to call Bell directly and relayed all this information I have mentioned here.
It was oddly weird because when I chatted with Ejecterio? on the Bell website using my computer I assured me that the address was a legitimate drop off I didn't seem so concerned until today when again No Phone and my calls were being ignored or passed off as unimportant.
Sorry this is long, but my question is, If I did rec'd the 25 Ultra on Thursday Oct 23 and was sent back within 2 hours after receiving it as they instructed...the box was not opened, nor was it activated as I don't have it since it was returned to stated address above. How am I to respond to not having the 25 Ultra at all in my possession? Some sort of reassurance would be nice if any at all...
Thank you.
