I have an Apple iPhone 7+ and an 8+ the 7 is on Bell 3G the 8 is on Bell LTE. The data connectivity is very different. Why? Can I put the 7 on the LTE?

The iPhone 7 Plus has 3G and 4G/LTE capability.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post. 

@WelshTerrier is correct, you will need to make sure that your phone IOS is updated to it's latest versions and make sure that your network settings is set to 4G/LTE.
