Hi there, @Mypeople. Welcome to the Bell Community.
For the Community to be better able to assist you, could you please provide further details as to the issues you're experiencing?
Do keep in mind that many factors can limit signal strength; topography, environmental conditions, line of sight to towers, types of buildings in your area, etc.
- Where are you not receiving calls?
- Are you able to make calls? What about text messaging or mobile data usage?
- Have you tried inserting your SIM card into another phone (if possible)? This may confirm if it's a hardware issue.
- Are the issues only happening indoors at home, or outdoors as well?
- Do you know of anyone else in the area having similar issues?
- Have you tried using Wi-Fi calling
where available? - What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
- Have you gotten in touch with our technical support team to open a ticket?
You may also find our How To article Troubleshooting voice calls on your Bell Mobility phone
helpful.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
Can you please provide me with some further details? Is it one specific number or all landline numbers?
Check your phone’s settings.
- Make sure that you have not turned on Airplane mode.
- Check that your ringer volume is loud enough and that the phone is not set to silent or vibrate only.
- Make sure that the landline number is not being blocked on your device.
- Check your Focus & Do not disturb settings.
- Do you have Call Forwarding? If so, turn this feature off.
- Make sure your phone is not set to auto answer.
- Verify your network mode is set to automatic. Confirm that you are in area that has coverage.
- Reboot your phone. Turn your device off and on or perform a soft reset. In most cases, a soft reset will not affect data on the device unless the battery is very low.
- Try making a test call. Dial *2355 from your smartphone. If you hear a recording saying your test call is successful, then your phone can make a voice call. If you hear a recording saying “To activate your Bell Mobility phone...,” please contact Bell Customer Service or visit a Bell store for assistance.
If the problem persists, you should contact Bell Customer Service Mobility Tech support at: 1 800 667-0123
Let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Take care.

Does it work properly when everyone else calls? If so, then it will be an iPhone setting.
Have you verified your voicemail answer settings?
Check you iPhone settings. E.g. Blocked callers, Silence unknown callers, blocked contacts, etc.
Is your iPhone iOS & apps up to date?
Try doing a full power off & on of your device.
Let us know how you make out.

Hi there, @bdfasion88. Welcome to the Bell Community, and thank you for your post.
We wanted to check in and see if you were still having issues receiving calls. Additionally, could you clarify as to what you mean by "short message"? Are you meaning messages from short codes (e.g. those used for 2FA verification), or text messages in general?
If you're still experiencing issues as a whole, please take the time to review the questions asked of other users earlier in this thread and provide further details at your earliest convenience.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.

This can be as a result of any number of factor? What is the make & model of your device? Which mobility plan do you have? Has this been an ongoing problem or did this just suddenly start to occur?
Is your device & apps up to date? Have you done a hard reboot of your device? No visible physical damage to your device?
- Are you missing all calls, some calls, certain callers, all callers? Have you tried calling your device from a landline?
- Are you missing calls as a result of unknown callers being silenced & not showing their caller id identification?
- Blocked callers?
- Does this occur all of the time? Some of the time? At home? Away?
- What is your signal strength?
- Any physical obstructions blocking your signal?
- Have you checked or made any changes in cellular & phone settings?
- Have you tried turning on & using Wi-Fi calling? This can be of benefit in locations where there is a weak cellular.
- Have you called Bell Mobility?
After reviewing all of the above & you are still encountering caller issues, then you should reach out to Bell tech support. Call: 1 800 667-0123 or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device.
Let us know how you make out & if we can be of further assistance.
Take care

One of our Bell mobility lines has been unable to place or receive calls since last Wednesday / 5 days ago. I have had 2 technicians call me on our other line and ask exactly the same questions. Five days later the issue is still unresolved.
I have tried using the Bell "Check the status of your repair" option on My Bell. All I receive when I enter the mobile number in question is an error message "We encountered a problem". How can I have a ticket number for my Bell mobility issue and the ticket / phone number is not trackable. Typical.
I am looking forward to getting this Bell issue resolved so I can take my two mobility lines and internet service to another provider.
We have been loyal Bell customers for 40+ years and this is the technical support we receive from Bell? Shameful!
Regards.....Scott / Ottawa
