You can access your voice mailbox from any mobile or regular touchtone phone.
Airtime, long distance and roaming charges may apply when you access your mailbox using your mobile phone.
From your mobile phone
- Press and hold the 1 key.
- Enter your password (if applicable).

I also am having trouble retrieving voicemail. My phone tells me I have voicemail. I go to my voicemail. It separates phone numbers from my carrier voicemail! I open my carrier voicemail & it says I have no voicemail; but yet there are 3 numbers that have left me a voicemail I can’t retrieve!! Why is this ALL OF A SUDDEN??!! I’ve never had this problem before! Why NOW?

Welcome to the community and thanks for your post.
It sounds like you may have the Live Voicemail turned on in your settings. We suggest checking out How to use iOS Live Voicemail
to see how to turn it off.
Give that a try and keep the Community updated with the results.
